Staying and Grinding in Affiliate Marketing

Although I'm not satisfied with what is happening in my situation I am staying and grinding. I know every little step can contribute to the big success ahead.

I'm a farmer and I know the hard work. I carry heavy loads and tread kilometers from the farm to our home.

Along the way often times you feel weak and unable to carry your load all the way home but by your fighting spirit your physical body is strengthened.

The online business is not easy as I've thought of. I feel like carrying a load to be taken to another place and that is too heavy. I have to take rest along my way but never thought of cutting anything from my load.

I. Affiliate Programs

I was aprroved by Amazon, Rakuten, Ebay, Lazada but after how many months no commisions came. I removed all their adds that populates my posts and derails my visitors.

Adsense is the only affiliate program I have. One day I was able to make $0.40 and I thought it would continue to grow from that amount. No, it decreased and as of this day I am receiving a $0.09.

II. Website Development

Four websites is too much to bear. Other than that there are others in a sub-domain. I can't even post in some of them so I have a zero frequency of posting.

I have one for a 100% frequency, two for a 30% frequency, two in 10% frequency, others with a zero frequency. All of which are Google Indexed.

III. I Want to Dispose them

I was trying to sell some of them but it's not easy to do. Two of my best sites have the highest rates but I dont want to dispose them because I enjoy adding posts although so slow.

Those that I don't want and that I can't work into should be sold but I'm not sure if somebody wants to take them.

IV. Inspirations from the Community

The experiences of those who have stayed with WA for more than three years and up are a great source of strentgh and inspiration.

They have the keys and the wisdom that will lead us to follow them. Their successes will never leave dismay to us but they are like magnets that pull us to continue on grinding until we also see success.

So why not continue to share your experiences on how you started from scratch to the level you are now. There's a good thing to know, see and imulate and that is the very help you will ever leave.

Thank you for reading and leaving your comments.

We can do this. We can't succeed if we stop trying.
Debbie

That's right, Debbie.

After 2 1/2 years I feel the same and have yet to make money. Luckily I joined to learn skills and I have other sources of income, but at t imes I still feel a loser among a group of winners.

Reading posts like the one by Eddy Salomon called "WA Lied! You're A Farmer Not A Business Blogger" helped me a lot. I come from 8 generations of German farmers and traits of a farmer still remain in my blood despite the fact that I became a salaried employee for the majority of my life.

Perhaps "You can take the farm boy to live and work in the city, but you can't take farming out of the boy."

I like your idea, Roger. In fact, for more than twenty years I don't do farming from the time started to work in the church and yes I cannot forget that I was once a farmer. My feeling is that I'm always a farmer and I love to be with the earth than to stay in Malls and airconditioned buildings. I do prefer rural areas than the urban.

Sounds like a passion for a niche website. Let me know if you ever go for it.

You can go for it Roger if you think it's a good niche. I'll try to concentrate on what I've already started. I need more time.

I am entering my 8th month here at WA. The 1st six months I got a lot done and accomplished (I am retired so I can spend all my time on my businesses).

One mistake I made was creating a 3rd website. This site is dormant now because I bit off more than I could chew and dedicate to.

My wife and I have transitioned into living full time in a RV. At first I thought that I would be able to work my business unabated. This wasn't the case either.

Our new lifestyle takes adjustment and I am just now getting back to some form of consistency on my websites. It was easy to get side tracked and not budget my time right.

So month 7 was tough on my businesses.

I know I must keep tracking forward and adjust to make this WA experience happen.

I hope you do the same and keep moving forward. You are not in this alone.

The whole community is behind you and waiting to help.

Best of Luck!

Thank you for sharing your experience, Don. Now I know what I'm going through is a general trend and I don't want to lose hope.

As if I read your post about RV living, that was months over. I like the spirit of that life, however, only the millionaires can do it.

Keep with it Jimmy!

Thanks, Mike.

Thanks for sharing Jimmy.

Derek

My pleasure, Derek.

Hey Jimmy, thanks for sharing this great information. I feel like it will keep many of us grounded and focused on adding more value to our websites. To keep grinding because results will come albeit slowly.
Keep going. I wish you great success!

Thank you, Jane. Hope you will not do what I did and success will come easily for you.

We learn from our own mistakes or mistakes of others. I say don’t beat yourself up. It’s better to make mistakes and learn from them, than to wonder what would have been...

Sometimes mistakes add to the burden until they are surpassed and taken out of the load to make the burden easier.
In business, a mistake adds to the financial burden.

Very true

Good day to you, i just want to share.
Google do not like affiliate links in your content.
They commented on my website as sneaky redirects.
I have done a lot of work cleaning up all the affiliated links in my website.
Your indexing can be removed by Google if found to be not meeting the guidelines.
If it is removed, I dont there is any notification that inform us about this. We will lose a lot of organic search traffic.
Well at least you got approved by Adsense and earning from it.
Mine was rejected.
Try to get more traffic, I think Adsense can help.
I wish you good luck.

Thank you for the tip. I have to work into it because I know there is a lot that is unnecessary.

.... appreciate your candour ... thanks kindly for sharing & posting ... all the best for every success, cheerio... :)

That's the only weapon I have Keishalina. In business, we have to be honest.

It's not easy, Jimmy. In fact it's very hard...but you should not give up.

Having many sites that take up all your time isn't a good plan initially.

I would concentrate on one...

James

I made those sites by mere mistake, I don't know really is my niche so I create and create. The problem is that I registered it immediately. After you have registered a domain you can no longer take it back.

Mistakes like those are expected. I did that too, but I found it is always so much better just to concentrate on just the one site, and take it from there :)

Yes, I'm working it too from there.
