The Smooth Stone
Thank you all so much for your kind words of wisdom, the willingness to share your failures, as well as your successes, and your prayers and encouragement. I am so very glad that I was directed to WA. it is a terrific community full of people who are just trying to make a go of internet marketing. It is through our failures in life that we will grow and change. Adversity can be a great teacher. I know, because I have suffered through much adversity in my own life. God willing the next 56 years will be a little smoother than the first 56, but I will take whatever the Lord gives me. Even a smooth polished stone found at the seashore doesn't get that way overnight. It happens over a series of years. The water beats against it constantly. Storms come and go, and each time the beating of the rocks, sand, and waves polish the stone until it reaches that beautiful polished shiny state. All the rough edges appear completely smooth. But is it completely smooth? If you look at that smooth stone under a microscope, you will find it still has many small nicks, and roughness is still there embedded into the texture of the stone. It is these small imperfections that truly showcase the beauty of the stone. So it is with life and all its foibles and failures and frailty, we are made into something of beauty. This can only occur if we learn from all or failures, mistakes, and the terrible things that may happen in our lives. I have loved and lost, experienced grief and sadness, betrayal and yes, even violence, but ALL these things have made me the woman I am today. I am becoming that smooth stone. I still need a lot of polishing, believe me.(My husband will attest to that ;) ) I believe with everything in me that God brought me to WA. The sense of community, the training, the help and encouragement are hands down the finest. It is up to myself as an individual, as it is with all of us here to, avail ourselves of all that is here at WA, including asking questions when you are stumped, and following the lessons step by step. I have learned infinitely more than I would have with any other internet marketing site, and I am making friends all over the planet! I love it! So, again I say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have left comments and reached out to me to say hello and follow me. Thank you Kyle and Carson for having the vision and bringing it to pass here at WA. I am looking to the future and it looks GOOD! No, GREAT!! Please, do not hesitate to ask for help if you need it, or anyone, and if I can help, I will be absolutely blessed to do so. Here's to an awesome future in each of our niche businesses! - Blessings
