Passing the First Hurdle

Well, It has been an eventful few weeks. Not only have I accomplished building my own very first website, but I have helped my dear husband find employment. I am realizing that I have many skills that were hidden that I never knew I possessed. I did know that I have writing skills. However, my desire was to be able to build my own website where I can share my own experiences and perhaps help someone else who may be struggling. I never dreamed it could happen this way! I always thought I would hold a conventional position as a Community Service Worker. That's what I graduated from college for. I was pursuing employment in the capacity of helping my fellow human beings. It looks like I am still working in this capacity, only from a very different venue than I had imagined. I 've wanted to write a book for sometime, and started it, but it never came to fruition. I also wanted to start a blog, and share my ideas, thoughts and encourage others to success, but never knew how to do so. I also desired to start web designing, and was looking into further education in this field. WOW! All three of those dreams are coming to pass here at WA! I am writing, web designing, AND helping others as I have always desired. Talk about your dreams come true!

Now, here I am to share with you, that all things are possible to those that believe. My faith In God first, my faith in myself to do the work, and being involved in a dynamic community of people who really do desire for you to be successful. Now, I 'm not saying you have to believe in God like I believe, but, at least believe in yourself and your abilities. We all have certain bits of knowledge that we can pass on to others. As a collective whole here at WA, when we pass on these hidden gems of wisdom to others, we are in all actuality helping ourselves in the long run. Thank you to all those who have reached out to this newbie and helped me with your wisdom and knowledge, and believe me, I WILL be paying it forward and helping others in the days, months and years to come. To the newbies, do not be afraid to ask for help. I am here and you can ask me, and if I don't have the answer you are looking for, someone else will. I promise! Together, here at WA we can all be successful. Don't quit, even when it looks hard, and life seems to overwhelm you. Stay the course, and encourage someone else when you are feeling discouraged. It will always lift you up out of that place and give you a sense of joy. I know, because I have been there. Someone once said," It's not about the destination, it's about the journey." So, enjoy the journey! I am. Blessings and Success!

Same to you as well. Stay in touch.:)

I, too, am on a voyage of self-discovery and a new career. Late life switch, too, as my age begins with a 6. LOL Still, it's NEVER too late to learn! Keep going. . . . I intend to!

I found that out Carla when I went back to school at the age of 54. It was so much fun! I have learned so much in the last 2 years. I am truly enjoying this journey. Thanks for your encouragement. Blessings-Anne

Once you sharpen you website building skills, you will be a community service worker, only you have an opportunity to service a global community:)

Thanks Steve you are so correct. I am excited about all of this! Take care and we will stay in touch. :)
