Do You Prefer Wealth Or Being Rich?
If you find yourself reading this blog, you may be wondering what's the difference between being wealthy and being rich. Some of you may believe being wealthy and being rich is synonymous. Well I use to believe that concept as well. I must admit, it took me a long time to realize I had the wrong concept of money, wealth, and riches. Now I have a totally different mindset concerning money. I can say with confidence that attaining wealth is inevitable, because wealth begins with a certain mindset.
Anyone can be rich, but not all of us can be wealthy. An average lottery winner can become rich instantly. However, that doesn't make them wealthy. If he or she doesn't have a wealthy mindset, the riches can dissipate quickly. Rich people are often motivated and measured by money and material possessions. Wealthy people are motivated and measured by their passion, goals, dreams and their impact on others. We can be wealthy in so many other areas besides money. I also aspire to have a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, insight, love and generosity.
Wealthy people will always know how to retain wealth.

My riches, wealth and blessings have been many, not the least of which are friends, family and faith. Never has the wealth overflowed financially, but comfort has existed for some time. In that regard, I believe the terms to be synonymous. However, I understand the difference in mindset. Thank you for a thought-provoking post. Good job.
Thank you DMLesko for the reply. I agree, family, friends and faith are valuable and tangible things that are key ingredients to having wealthy lifestyle.
I get what you're saying. I have a different mindset. I don't need to be rich. I simply want to have enough. That's plenty for me. Should I be blessed with more, I will use it to help others.
Thanks Carlalves....I couldn't agree more. There is a great joy and satisfaction of being able to help others. Some of us can accomplish so much with so little. "If we give, it shall be given n unto us good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over"
I agree with what you are saying. The Brian Tracy vid seems pretty scammy to me though. Sorry to say, he didn't convince me to cough up my email.
LOL! Thanks for the feedback Labman. Have you heard of Brian Tracey before? He has some great motivational videos. Check out some of his other videos if you can.
