What are Your Brands Color?

If I asked what are your brands colors, could you answer me.

What colors did you choose for your website and do they align with your brand?

Choosing the Correct Color.

Choosing the right color scheme is important, and not just because it looks nice.
If I said it helps boost conversions , establish brand identity and help retain visitors, would you believe me

Boost Conversion

Having a nice color scheme for your website is similar to painting your house or shop. If you were asked into a bright pink bedroom at the culmination of a lovely night out…what would you think.

Maybe if you were a male you would think this person is screaming out their desire for building a family….. possibly the wrong choice on a first “date”. Maybe a more neutral color may have got a return approval.

Picking the right color schemes can influence your customers decisions. If important elements like CTA’s or call to actions stand out (not hot pink, unless you’re Barbie), visitors are more likely to interact with them.

For example a study shows that RED works better for a CTA button than green.

60-30-10 Color Rule.

In one of my past lives I used to be a very successful printer. With website, the “rule” used to be 1 color scheme with 60% being the dominant color and 30% being the secondary color and 10 % being the accent c the dominant color and 30% being the secondary color and 10% being the accent color.

Knowing the Right Colors

Knowing the right websites colors can improve your user’s experience. Combined with a well designed user interface colors can help visitors navigate your site.

And we know how much Google likes that.

There is so much more about color that you should look at. And if you aren’t a printer or designer it could be something you need to outsource.

Color my world with a smile and I will go that extra mile.

P.S Once again trying to put in headers it has affected all the script underneath. It would be nice if this was fixed. I’m seriouslý considering never doing internal blogs again.

Color seems to be important in everyday life as well as websites. You have to know your audience. Artsy can get away with more than business websites AND attire.

Either way, that pink has to GO!!!!! It makes my eyes hurt. LOL.

Haha…that was personal experience and I was out in 5 minutes. My whole future life flashed…in pink… before my eyes.

Color psychology is super important, Steve!

Wow, talk about too much pink! Lol

Every square inch of my teenage bedroom walls were covered with rock posters; mostly Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath.

Should my mother have been concerned? Lol, probably, but I turned out ok, just the same. 😄

Luckily, teenage girls liked that decor back in the 1960s. Haha 😎

Haha. I had the “trippy” posters and black lights and my parents were worried…lol, as they should have been.
But now…..a fully productive member of society. Lol.

Haha, the '60s, with black light posters, lava lamps, and peace signs everywhere. 😎

Great image, Steve! 👍👍

Sounds about right! Lol 😂

Thanks for that. I'm a bit OCD with things like that and the human psyche (and yes I did look how to spell it).

1

Haha, you passed my teachers spelling scrutiny lol.
But yeh, sometimes the simplest things can be very important… like color in design.
Thanks
Steve

I have a lime green background, and I think it works well for me, Stevoi, but I might change it at some point though! We will see how things progress!

Some good info here though!

Lime green ain’t my fave color but it is effective with websites.

I feel like it has worked for me, so far, Stevoi! We shall see as time progresses!
