Making YouTube Shorts in Canva
Shorts.
I love wearing them, I love watching them and I love the sound of them.
It makes it sound easy and quick ( One of my favorite words)
However
It took me 3-4 hours to make my first short in Canva. Which may be the longest short ever.
By the time I uploaded all the images I wanted,( and most were mine as I wanted to avoid any plagiarism issues), it still took a fair amount of time.
The YouTube short was about Hanoi versus ho Chi Minh for ESL teachers to live and find jobs etc.
My First Time.
This was my first time making a YouTube short and I did take extra time because I wanted my own "audio" which I crafted from "MaxAI" the Bing Thing...
Happy or not.
I am certainly not happy with the time it took and i hope with the training that Jay is giving on this soon, ( In 3 days I believe) he can show ways to improve on the efficiencies of using Canva.
I use Invideo for most of my videos now and honestly can't see myself changing to Canva for the time reason alone.

Finally
If I can run out YouTube shorts in less time ( yes if any of you YouTube wizards out there can show me the light, I am happy to try again)
But at this stage YouTube shorts is another oxymoron like "peace keeping Force"

I agree. I use canva for some of the b-roll but I like invideo for my short and long videos. I tried their AI stuff and was disappointed in it. But I like the studio

A very quick way to make YouTube shorts is to make them from your regular YouTube videos, if you have any. You can also use the “short” format to link to your full length video.
You can make YouTube Shorts from other people's videos, but the YouTuber must have enabled “clipping” on the video for you to use it. 😎

Shorts are perfect for life in Asia. I rely on them everyday. Only meetings in Bangkok and or visits to the immigration office require me to don my "big boy" pants.
I was interested in the title of the short you produced it has given me some ideas that I can use here.
