Lessons for Business
Business Life Lessons.
After many years I have come to realize certain life lessons help in personal life and can also help in business life.
People buy from people, no matter how nice your website looks and how fast it loads, if your readers dislike your personality they will refrain from buying from you.
These are a few thoughts I have picked up along the way.
Accept the things you can’t change. Today we have no power, why, I don’t know. But our whole neighborhood is the same. It is also pinging down raining.
So I have dragged out a book by my favorite author I haven’t read yet, yahoo. Can’t do my planned posts. But not going to stress it.
Nobody likes a person who is always right. Being humble and listening, even if you know someone is wrong can be the start of a great friendship.
I no longer haggle with street vendors. A few extra pennies or dong won’t hurt me, but it might help them save for their daughter’s or sons school fees. It embarrasses when I see foreigners haggling with poor street vendors in Vietnam. Sometimes over cents..
I always listen to other peoples stories, even if I have heard them before. It allows people to relive their precious memories.
I no longer feel the need to correct people, even when I know they’re wrong. It’s not my job to make everyone perfect—peace is far more valuable than perfection.
I freely give compliments and try to say “yes” more often. It lifts the mood of both the giver and receiver. And remember, if you receive a compliment , say "Thank you."
Little things don’t worry me much any more. If the bed doesn’t get made, the world won’t stop. If I spill sauce on my shirt, I’m not going to panic as I’m more important than a spot.
I don’t hang around people who try to put me down or don’t value me. I know my worth.
These days I only compete with me. I refuse to be part of the rat race.
My emotions are what makes me, I am not scared of crying in front of others. That’s what make me human.

I live each day the best I can and do what makes me happy without hurting others.
It is a fairly simple mantra, but it works for me in both business and private.

Best way to live life buddy!!
I still struggle when it comes to 'handing out great advice' which the recipient doesn't listen to then everything turns to s#$@ as always.....
We do what we can and I try not to let it bother me too much any more....
But.... it does!!@
