A Kraptacular Week
It’s been a while and every one probably thinks I have been lazy.
And yep, that’s me but it has also rained shite on me for the last week or so.
If you are an avid reader, lol..I think I have 2, you will know I have been exercising a lot.
And the Gods can be capricious, look it up,.
Went for my 3 monthly check up. I had colon cancer and actually died on the op table. Thanks to a shite load of costs and paper work for foreigners “karking” it in Vietnam, they bought me back. 16 hours and 2 tonnes of morphine. lol
But my arch enemy is back. Doing a cat scan in 2 weeks to see if is benign or an ugly one.
So ….boohoo… no more beer…. But I have converted to Rastafarianism as my herbal friend will increase white blood cells. The only problem is my students saying teacher why are your eyes red. lol.
The next shitey thing is the family had a huuuggge argument. Just what I need.
We, my wife and I, have been looking after her 2 nieces as their mom is no good. And in Vietnam it is pretty hard to be no good.
She came last night under the influence of something banging on our gate saying she wanted her kids.
A much longer story will not be told but she will never be welcome in this house again.
So I hope next week is better.
Peace and love to all

P.S. I hope to be back fully soon.

I hope the time upcoming will be much better. I know about unfit parental units wanting their kids back. We are in a year long (so far) court battle with the biological mother of my granddaughter. Her mother left her on our doorstep at 5 and a half months old. Now she is 11 and "mommy dearest" thinks she is ready to be a mom. We think she is not. Anyway, it's not fun. I feel your pain, Steve!
I hope all turns out well on the medical front, as well.
Karin
Thanks Karinoi (adding ơi to the end of a name means friend in Vietnam, and you are that)
Sorry to hear about your court battles. I have a feeling that there are a lot of families in similar situations.
It takes a special person to fight for children who can’t fight for themselves. So hats off Karinoi.

Thanks Buddy, the strange thing is with all the exercise etc, I’ve never felt better. As I’ve said to ôthers, I've got a lot more laughing to do before going anywhere.

Feeling well with a good attitude is a huge plus when it comes to defeating disease states! 👍👍😎

You are right, been a tough time! Hope that is turning around, and family can really trip up a good plan.
Hang in there, Will add some prayers on your behalf. Our bodies with a little help can heal themselves.
Sami
Thanks Samioi, the power of prayers , in my opinion, is a lot better than the directives of doctors.

Steve Oi, they knew they were not getting paid unless they brought you back! Simple economics. ;-)
Very Happy to see you back at WA and in the world.

I read something interesting about cancer recently. Everyone talks about cancer cells as being out of control and taking over your good cells and it seems like chaos. But really your body is fighting to put itself back into balance again. Something caused it to be put out of balance. You have to figure out what did that. It isn't out of control at all but very much in control. My mother died of colon cancer over 50 years ago so I witnessed the struggle. We have way better information now than we had back then. You can definitely beat this! No doubts about it! I'm always praying for you!
Veronica
Thanks Veronica. My Mum had colon cancer too, and had cravings for peanuts. It seems that was the mineral that she was missing in her body. Unfortunately it came too late for her.
