completely baffled. Trying so hard. I can't even create an account with google ad sense. It won't accept my valid url address for my website, it comes up as - URL must not have a path (example.com/path) or subdomain (subdomain.example.com). How can I even sort this out. my website url is what it is. What next?

Ah yes....I've had the darndest time with Google Webmaster myself. :P It is obnoxious as I can't seem to get it set up to track keywords. Not fun. :(

I think I know what you are talking about. When you try to connect via the Google+ link it will not let you? That happens on any site I have hosted on WA servers. I had a a site I had started as a free domain and it was doing that so I went ahead and bought the domain name. It didn't make any difference, it still will not let me connect. I had posted in the live chat about this but didn't get any response so I'm not sure what the problem is. If that's not what you are talking about, sorry for hijacking your blog post. :)

Joyce aka Nana

yes its the same problem i'm having. thank you

Maybe Kyle or Carson will see this and answer our question! :) If you find out the answer let me know. If I find out the answer I'll let you know! Okay?

Seems your not the only one having this problem. One possible solution is to buy a cheap domain name like a .co uk for a year (take a look at 123reg they usually have something going cheap) then get some free hosting (byethost) and park your cheap domain on it. Put up a site with content and submit this to adsense for application. After you have account place the ads on website here. I have a domain parked on byethost and can help you with this. Running 3 sites on free hosting at the moment all with adsense on so it seems they need a proper url for sign up now. If anybody can add anything to this please do

When I signed up for Adsense many moons ago it was with free hosting using one of the examples you have giving, no problems at all. Maybe the have changed the policy. We all know how much they love to change things mid flow. I will try and have a look to confirm any rule changes

ok great

Hi, I'm not a big fan of Adsense, but if it states (subdomain.example.com) then using a free your.siterubix.com isn't going to work. You'll need your own domain and hosting I'm afraid.

Maybe that's only related to the signup process, because I've installed Adsense on sub-domains before.

It's not accepting the siterubix. part. I don't have one of those sites so I'm not sure what to do about it but it seems like that is the problem.

Hopefully someone in the chat area would know how to fix it or maybe try Kyle when he comes on.

ok

Is it a siterubix site?

yes it is
