I've reached a milestone!
OK. So, maybe not a major milestone, but it's something I'm proud of.
I published my 2nd article to my site. The thing is, my 1st one was kinda slim at just barely over 600 words. My 2nd was more than double that at over 1500 words! It took me almost a week to get it done, but hitting that publish button and seeing it live on my site was well worth all the work, and time, that it took.
I'm learning better research and writing skills which will continue to improve with each article I write. That really builds confidence that I can truly do this. Thanks to the training and the community here.

Well done.
It won't be long and you'll find it difficult to write anything less then 2000 words. Jim
Thanks. That's the goal I'm shooting for, Jim. I know it won't take me long and I'll get there and beyond.
That is great news, I remember my first few posts, now it is easier to do and you can do the same.
Darren :)
Thanks for the encouragement, Darren. I love to write and research so the process is enjoyable. Plus I absolutely love the subject!
That is a wonderful milestone! as not only did you do a second article but you doubled your word count! You will start to find writing much easier the more you do. I struggled to get 750 on my first blog and yesterday I managed to write 3800 words.
Wishing you all the best and much success with your new website : )
Howdy Sara,
Wow. from 750 to almost 4,000?! I've got a way to go for that much of a leap in word count, but I'm getting there. It won't be long either.
With the amount of research involved in my niche, I'm thinking a consistant average of around 2000 words might be the sweet spot.
Joey, it is a great milestone when u feel good about anything and everything you accomplish. You got this. Keep it going.
Laura
Hey Laura. The first post was a milestone for sure. But the second one felt even bigger. I'm sure the next one will feel bigger than that.
By the way, it's on the idea you gave me in the chat. And it's working good so far. I really appreciate that.
Congratulations Joey, it can take time to reach our writing stride looks like you are making very good progress.
Best wishes as you continue to develop your writing style.
Thanks, Alex. Slow and steady is the way to go, for sure. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so it's not easy, but defiantly worth the struggle. Just have to push through!
Hi Joey, perfectionism can be a pitfall, we strive for 110% when 85% will bring more than enough results, and when we spread our wings we usually end up gliding at a 120% altitude, just seems to be the way it flows.
That's for sure! I'm starting to overcome the perfectionism. I finally realize that if I keep trying to make things perfect, I'll never accomplish anything. There comes a time when good enough has to be good enough.
