This Gave Me Chills - Today's Post Part 2
As you know, I posted a blog earlier today. In that blog, I explained why I felt life had punched me in the gut over this past weekend. I went on to say the events over the weekend had me thinking about a quote I had read some time ago from Audrey Hepburn, who stated "Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I'm possible."
I am a member on a particular social media platform. On that particular platform, memories pop up from past posts. This afternoon, I received such a memory. As I read it, I got chills (and misty all over again). When I posted the WA blog this morning, I had no clue it was the anniversary of the post I shared in my other social media community.
Three years ago today, I shared a beautiful poem my daughter had written about me for an English assignment. The poem is below. (Pay close attention to the last line of it):
To the lovely and loyal lady I call "Mom"
My best friend who could never be replaced
Your arms hug like a blanket
Your smile is as bright as the sun
You'd do anything to make me happy
My heart is filled with joy when I see you happy
You take care of not only me but our whole family
The lengths taken to please others is incredible
You are my pillar of strength through everything in life
I have learned from your hard work, sacrifice, and dedication
I am truly inspired to do my best at all times
Nothing is impossible to you

Thank you. My daughter is a very appreciative young lady and thanks me all the time. She's a beautiful person and I, in turn, appreciate her.

I am around teens for a large part of my work week and I am constantly impressed by their capacity to express encouragement and empathy for others. Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome and yes, I agree with you about the teens. I love when they can so freely express themselves in such a positive light.
