This won't help you get your site back this time, but it is a good reminder to regularly back up your site. Go to Tools in your dashboard and select Export. You can save all your posts and pages to a file that you keep on your computer, Google drive, or wherever.

That's okay, my whole theme is changed as of today as well, and I don't like it! Tech support is working on my problem. I was gone to my son's Marching Band performance at the Football game this evening and I came home and now my site looks like ....blahhh, not what I created anyways.
Yeah, check with tech support, I asked earlier if anyone else was having problems with WP.

Happy that I'm not the only one, but of course not happy that you have trouble too. I'm glad my site is back even though it's empty and all my hours spend on it were almost wasted. I say almost because I did learn a great deal from building the site which I can put to good use now. Cheers and keep smiling:)
Mine is all back to normal now, it was a stupid plugin.
Great your site is back and don't forget to back it up, I also copied the HTML text code (which contains all info for what you have done on your site up to that point) in the editor page and pasted into my Microsoft word files.

I just learnt this yesterday. Your theme is broken. Just switch to another theme, delete your old theme. Then re-install.
Nope, didn't work. I deleted as you advised, and started all over, but the screen is still all white.
MisterWailor, that is weird. My website is back, exactly the one I had except it is as it was when I got it. All my content and pictures is gone. How crazy is that, disappear and come back with all content gone
Just some glitches on the WA site, some people had that all the time.
It is possible that your internet connection is not stable.
My internet is great, no trouble there. Same with my computer, is quick.Well, the important thing is that my page is back even though I have to start from the beginning to populate the pages. Learning Curve.

Hi Daniel, these things happen. Do you have a backup? If not, don't worry. Ask WA to recover your website for you - put in a support ticket.
You probably won't have to start all over again. They're upgrading the servers, so maybe a glitch but it could also be a plugin issue or something else that you did. It's hard to say.
I had the white screen 2 days ago too - BUT it was all my fault, lol, and it is all good now.
For future reference, do this training so you can control the process.

Thanks for the response. My website came back, but pretty much in untouched condition. I guess that may have to do that I deleted all and started again as MisterWailor suggested. But I don't know. I'm just happy my site is back and I can work on it. Cheers:)

You can request the WA Support to restore it back to the state where it's still working properly. Website recovery and real-time backup is part of our benefit as a premium member.

I just deleted my website here, all it does is make me age by the minute. Probably stay with google+, that's free and no drama.
Now its after 1 pm, 3hours and zero accomplished .
