My success after 1 month WA!

Dear friends at WA,

I decided to start a blog to document my progress and success with WA! Especially in the beginning of my journey I was very inspired by other members posting about their milestones and I want to give that back.

My first month here at WA is over. I completed the course, bought three domains, built my first website and produce content every day. The most important thing I learned during this month - apart from the theory - was how to work at home. It takes more discipline than I thought at first and I had troubles finding my groove.

The initial 10 days were focused only on WA, I was hooked. Sucking up all the information like a sponge. Creating my website.

Around day 20 I stopped working completely. I was a little burned out and reluctant to log in at WA, I doubted myself and if I can do this. But soon I realized that this is just the first threshold - probably the one were most people drop out again. I don't want to be a quitter, not before I have tried for real (which means doing this at least a year). So I sat down and started to plan my days and figured out a working routine that works for me.

So my first success would be the development of my working schedule. I am now able to produce content regularly, stay motivated and have fun with it. We'll see what I've accomplished in 3 months. I will keep you posted.

Don't forget to live your life outside of WA, building a business takes a lot of time but if you are not giving yourself some space you are likely to fail.

Cheers!

Congratulations on your progress. How wise of you to recgonise burnout and take steps to stop it happening again. I think most of us made that mistake when we were starting out. Wishing you every success as you progress.

Very well said

Wow! You got me inspired again here, Mahalo!!! :)

Hope you are still hanging in there
Let us know if you need any help.

Yes, burn-out and overwhelm can happen so easily. I'm currently taking a break from the bootcamp course so I can apply what I've learned so far into practise.

Thanks for sharing your experience and for this reminder!

Inspired by the honesty in your post. Good thing we have the support of WA to keep going because without it a lot of people would not realize their dream. Honestly I wanted a little hand holding. The WA environment is the hand holding I need in my life right now. Everyday I'm inspired by someone's story or the informative emails from WA members encouraging me to go, go, go.

We are on our way,

Best,

MJ

Excellent blog! Great work so far, keep up the dedication and you are sure to go far in your online working experience!

You are so right, and we all have those days. But you remembered what you are here for, you kept your eye on the reason behind the hard work :)

I am eager to see your journey! Thank you very much for sharing!

Inspiring post, thx...

Hello Oliver, yes it is important to have a balance in terms of work, family and play time. You are doing pretty good. Keep up the good work and remember to play.
