6 Months at Wealthy Affiliate

Wow it has been 6 months since joining Wealthy Affiliate .. the summary is that I am nowhere close to the goals I set for my first 6 months and I am moving forward and having fun.

Why have I missed the goals?

• Initially I did not know what I did not know
• The goals I set were unrealistic, and I did not know it
• I overestimated my level of productivity

I was very unclear about choosing a Niche so I started with a WA promotion site. After 4 months I found that did not empower or excite me. I needed a Niche that I was passionate about. I now have a new site in a Niche that I can really relate to. I launched on December 5th .. you can read about it is this blog:

I am not as advanced in the WA training as I had planned to be. I did do a lot of other training from a wide range of "internet gurus" which has allowed me to get very clear on where I am now going. So, time to dive back into the Certificate Course.

My wife and I also have a Fitness Business. We have focused on expanding this dramatically using Social Media. The website is a non-WA non-WordPress site and a goal in the next 90 to 180 Days is to replace it with a new website on WA .. actually 2 .. one for local/national market and the other for international. A special thanks to all the Members here that contribute Posts about Social Media as that has significantly advanced my knowledge.

So, it seems that I am now at a serious takeoff point with both of these businesses/sites.

One thing that I have done consistently on WA is read the Blog emails. I have not been 100% successful on this one, but maybe close, even when I encountered the computer problems in December. This has been a critically important accomplishment for me:

• I have learned so much from the Blogs
• They help establish relationships
• They allow me to contribute back to everyone as best I can.

Finally .. thank you all members for your contribution to me .. thank you Kyle and Carson for provide something that, on the internet, is almost a "mythical beast": an honest and ethical system that way over delivers on it promises.

And my last thought is that I would love to meet everyone in Las Vegas, but that is not possible because my momentum is not high enough and the orientation of my business and my websites puts me out of that game .. for the moment.
