Choices

Imagine yourself sitting on a bright beautiful piece of land. You are there with your favorite people and your favorite animals. The sun is setting and you are looking across the way to that beautiful sunset just beyond the horizon. The day is setting. Day is turning into night.

Well, in life there are a lot of sunsets, lots of sunrises, and lots of in between times. There are ups and downs, there are good times and bad times. It is our choice on what we do with those times, how we are going to deal with those times. How we react to those times.

Now after the sun has set, what are you going to do? Are you going to go out? Are you going to sit around and watch someone else's life (Television that is), or are you going to do something for your own life?

Are you going to bring the world to a screeching halt by inventing something that is a “Must have” or are you going to go up to the bed and sleep?

These are the questions we have to face every day. Some of which we don’t even think about when we do them. Sometimes our lives are planned by the things we have in our future. Sometimes we don’t think about the things we do or what we are going to do.

The choice is ours. We need choice. We desire choice. But is it the right choice? Do we choose the things because of others? Do we choose to do things because we want to do them? What is it that we do?

Sometimes our choices are made for us by others. Children, spouse, parents, animals, where we live, what we have done in the past, all these things influence our choices. But one thing we can chose all the time is our attitude and our way of looking at things.

If we are positive about our situations and don’t let things get to us, we will always feel that we have gotten the best of things. If we feel negative and cheated by things, well, then we will feel bad about the choices we have made. One thing is for sure though you will choose one way or the other. And both are right. If you say that you cannot do something, you are right. If you say that you can do something, you also are right.

Being positive about where you are and where you are going will always make it a lot simpler to go through things. Everything has two faces, it is a matter of which one you choose to show. The person who grows in life will learn these things faster than those who don’t.

Being positive about everything helps you. It helps you to learn, it helps you to see, and it helps you to get through a lot faster than you ever thought possible.
