Birthday Surprise

Have you ever had a birthday party for someone and they did not know about it? You know a surprise party!Well, today we are going to be doing that for my mom. She turns 74 today. And we go to church at 10 am. At church we are going to have a birthday party for her. Well, okay, that is not the only thing that is going on. We go to 2 different churches on Sunday. One is at 11 am and the other is at 3 pm. What my mom does not know is that I have planned a birthday party at both churches for her.

Would I be considered an overprotective parent? Or just a concerned parent? Here is the situation. My son has recently gotten a job at a store in a neighborhood that is not a very nice. It is Monday. I cannot believe that it has been 23 days into 2017. Wow. Today my boss' wife is going to have her baby. He said that he would make sure that he sent pictures of the new baby and stats.
