Why are we all doing this? Why is the membership growing so fast at WA? We all have probably asked ourselves these questions at some point during this journey. For one thing most of us are not doing to entertain ourselves or to simply keep ourselves busy. Most of us are here at WA because we are looking for a better way of life.

We are here because we want to work so we can live and live so we can work. How do we do that, well we do that by being smart about how we approach work itself; how do you define work? What does to work mean? To most people work means going somewhere trading your time and energy for money, usually somewhere you don’t want to be to begin with. You hate going in and you look forward to going home.

Is work a means to your end or is work an end to your means if you don’t have the opportunity to do it in the traditional sense. Nowadays when you tell someone you have an internet or an online business; they somehow take that as you do not work. Don’t blame them as it is not their fault that is the way their minds have been programed to think; that if they are not working for some else (who is more important than them), or punching the clock day in day out then they are not working.

I’ve been there done that worked and worked and worked until one day I said no more and started my own business and then worked for myself; it was not easy it was hard to do but I did it. I considered myself valuable enough to be my own boss and call the shots. But I’m not stupid either so as I started seeing the shift in the work industry; I started making plans to shift along with it.

So how is the work industry as we know shifting? Well as I have stated in my previous articles, the work industry as we know it is quickly shifting from offline to online. It is a clear, distinctive and an absolute shift; it is never going back to the way it was. The shift went from left to right in a very drastic speed. Even we here at WA are just simply trying now catching up to the shift.

Look around stores are closing left and right not just video stores, but clothing stores, electronic stores, pharmacies and even some colleges are closing down and going online; warehouses will become a special commodity to house everything and then ship them out not to stores but directly to the consumers. This is it my friends everything is eventually is going to move from offline to online.

When computers first came out there was a shift; when the internet came out there was another shift when working remotely became possible there was yet another shift (we went from the work offices to the home offices). Today the shift has gone fully online; online businesses are popping up left and right and it is here and it is here to stay. I tell you the truth; most of our kids will not have the pleasure of punching a clock or working at an office in a building somewhere from 9 to 5; this is the new reality.

Yes, I get it, this is not for everyone and for some of you who are manual laborers; I do get it, it is a little bit different for you. However, if you can learn a thing or two here at WA you might not need to do manual labor anymore. Actually isn’t that the goal for us all here at WA, we are all here because we are all looking for a better way of life. We are here because we want to work so we can live and live so we can work. Onward and Upward my friends, let’s move along with the shift and not be left behind.
