A Break is Good for the Soul and the mind.
In light of @Loes's recently announced "taking a break" I have to say kudos to her.
"Work may be important for survival but so is rest for a peaceful mind."
I once owned my own publication, called The Cliffhanger, and every year I would take 3 weeks break at Christmas time and came back in the new year rejuvenated. I would take a small section in my paper thanking everyone for their business and that I would see them in the following year.
I didn’t apologize; this was time for me and my family.
I just want to say, take that break! Spend it with those you love, or just give the time to yourself!
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!
MAY 2019 BE ALL THAT YOU WISH IT TO BE, PROSPEROUS AND HAPPY!!

We all need to take time for ourselves. That is why I am here working all the time and gone during the holidays. That way I can be with my family for the holidays.
That works out for me and starting in the New Year I will only be working M-F and weekends off I think that is a goal anyway.
This is something I am going to try anyway.

For two winters my husband and I shut off all electronic items after 7 at night but unfortunately, we have gotten away from that. Maybe we can do it again soon.
That is a good idea I have never thought about doing that before I don't know if that would work for me since I am constantly working on WA.
But then again that might be something we should try anyway. I am going to think about that.

Mary Ann,
That is very well stated and ever so true - we all need a
break from everything that life throws at us. Our business
is no exception!
Thank you for making more people aware that a break is
not just needed but required to let you be the best you can
be!

Great advice Mary Ann!
We’ve become so obsessed with our electronics that it’s difficult to put them down and walk away for awhile, especially now that a phone is so much more than just a phone.
Taking a break to let our “business brain” rest so imagination can thrive will do wonders.
Thanks for the wisdom!
