The Mechanic
Hello and I just wanted to share a little about my 25 day Journey with Wealty Affiliate Bootcamp thus far.
My Progress
I've learned a lot and at times I've felt like shutting down the desktop, reaching for a cold one and calling it night in terms of any progress. Like many here at WA I've managed to keep it together and power on. I've found that even if I encounter an unforeseen obstacle (which happens a lot) I can find solace in the fact that it's just one of many small problems which after having figured out, will add to my skills all the more.
Today I discovered that all my feeder page links were not working so I corrected the situation. What did I learn? CHECK MY LINKS before publishing!
I have 4 blog posts as of current and to be honest I'm not sure if a single person has visited my site. I'm currently focused on building my site correctly not worrying about any sales as yet. I'm just following the training.
Most Important Lessons
I don't always feel like writing but once I start, I sort of get into a groove. I learned that the most important thing is to TAKE ACTION. Yes, taking action is always better than doing nothing, you can usually correct a mistake later. When I write, I like to go over it a few times to tweak it so it sounds good to me and most importantly, hopefully to the person reading it!
Don't Give Up - As with anything in life, you can't succeed if you give up so don't beat yourself up when you run into a problem. Just know that you will get over this one like you did the thousands of others. Ask the community for help. Don't go the road alone.
You, like your business is a work in progress- You don't have to be perfect. This is a process. Do the best of your ability because you are getting better every day. Say it now with me " Every Day and in Every Way I'm Getting Better and Better" you already feel better right? Good!
The Next Steps
Keep going with the training of course, Silly. Press on, keep your head up, use your mind to your advantage and be careful about what you dwell on. Use every mistake and roadblock not for negative self talk but to make you better at WA and life in general. Business and life go hand in hand.
My next steps is baby steps. Little steps that will get me that much closer to my goal. What is the goal you ask? To be a successful affiliate marketer hopefully dropping my current job and venturing into this full time!
I've been in a rut for a long time trying to find something I can do for income that I enjoy and call me crazy but I think I might have a decent shot at this. Who knows? Only time will tell and if I end up failing? So what. Nothing lost in the process and I'm back to square one doing the same thing I've always been doing. One thing is for sure though. If you don't try you will never know, so hears to you WA I hope this has Instilled a shred of optimism in at least one of you and If you never hear from me again, just know that It was good while it lasted.
