My Sucessful Journey with WA - Stage 1
Hello Guys
I am glad that I am writing my first blog post within WA :-)
I have started my Journey with Wealthy Affiliate as Premium member on 26th March 2016 with an intention to learn Digital Marketing and become specialized Affiliate Marketer. Honestly at that point of time, I am not sure how much money I can earn down the line in this internet world but I have targeted myself to earn 5000 USD every month and posted the same at "Money Goals"
I have started my Certification course 1, which had taught me the basics on how to create a website and most importantly this course made me to think extensively to identify my suitable Niche. I have listed 5 Niches where I am really interested into and out of that, I have chosen a simple Niche to start with i.e., on Bathroom scales.
Now I have completed Certification course 1 & 2 and finally would like to come up with bodyweighingscale.com website. The intention of this site is to guide people to choose best bathroom scale and my target audience would be those who are into Weight Gain Or Weight Loss Or Stay Fit programs. For all these people, Bathroom scale would be an important wellness accessory at their home.
I am very much happy to see my initial website (I am yet to improve the content) where I was a complete layman on this subject couple of weeks back. With the help of courses, I have implemented the concepts which I have learnt so far and would kindly request you all to provide some feedback to me to improve my site and concepts.
My goal till end of May would be to complete the remaining Certification course 3, 4 & 5. I am not sure if Course 6 exist? However till end of May, I would like to focus to improve the content and simultaneously complete the courses. During this stage, I have not defined any monetary goals.
From June onwards, I will be focusing to work on Monetary goals and will share with you accordingly. Till then, I would request you to provide your valuable feedback on my website

I left a comment on your website. Does your contact form collect my email in an optin list? If it does, what plugin are you using? One of the most important things you can do is to start building your email optin list. Only problem I can see with your niche is anyone can go to the drug store and buy a scale for a few dollars. That is tough competition. When you pick a niche, it is important to visit Amazon, eBay, etc and see what people are buying in your niche.

Yes, you are correct I have chosen a small niche but when it comes to learning aspects, I thought this would be a better option and it will be good that, if I fight with the competition. I have defined few more strong Niches and they are in development process.
I have researched on Amazon site regarding bathroom scales and could notice many people buying scales online and there are some scales with advanced feature which measuring fat percentage, water percentage etc and such scales will be targeted in promotions rather than just checking body weight scales which generally available in the drug store.
