One Year With WA

Oh wow! How time flies! I can't believe it's been a year, a whole year. Honestly, when I first started, I didn't think I would make it this far; but I did. I am so happy and proud that I didn't give up and quit. There were many times when I wanted to do just that, stop.

I WANTED TO GIVE UP when I felt I wasn't innovative enough or creative enough to learn how to build websites and all about SEO, affiliate marketing, and everything else you can learn here at Wealthy Affiliate.

I often got so frustrated when I couldn't figure something out I just wanted to give up. These moments and feelings wouldn't last too long tho. I would quickly check myself and remind myself that quitting was not an option for me.

I would remind myself why I was here and how critical it is for me to reach my goals and dreams. I have one last chance at this, and I will not screw it up. I will not let fear and lack of confidence keep me from my journey.

One year later, I am still here and loving and learning every moment. I am so happy, so glad that I found WA and made this investment in myself and with the best platform to do it in.

One year later, I can still not monetize my websites, and that's ok. Now that I am more comfortable and confident building them, I can focus on learning how to monetize them.

At first, I felt a little embarrassed to say that I barely got comfortable and more knowledgeable about building websites and SEO. But, hey, some of us learn slower about certain things, and that's ok. We all know differently and need more time to get it fully.

Besides, one thing WA lets you know from the start is that this is not a get-rich-quick type of platform. So don't expect that. They let you know that your success is not going to happen overnight and that you will have to be dedicated and put in the work if you want to succeed as an online business owner.

This practice applies to any business you want to succeed in. You will have to work and be dedicated and passionate about what you are doing.

With that said, I am ok that I haven't been able to make money yet, but I know it's coming. I need to start taking action and do more towards making money from everything I've learned.

The one advice I could give to the new members would be not to give up. Please don't give up, no matter how difficult it might get for you. If you're here hoping that you are going to start making thousands of dollars right away, you might as well stop now. WA is not for you.

If you are dedicated, passionate, and ready to learn, you are in the right place. Take your time learning, be patient and take advantage of all that Wealthy Affiliate offers. It's the best investment in yourself you can make.

Thank you, WA and all members, for your support and belief in me. I am not here interacting with you often, but that's because I'm busy trying to get my site right. Now that I am getting the hang of it, I will spend more time blogging and helping as much as possible.
