I'm Vonnie D Wright MBA. I recently went back to obtain my graduate degree at the age of 57 and am proud of the trials and obstacles that I overcame to get to my existing place in life. I had an acute asthma attack on 2 April 2012 on the job at Wells Fargo in Charlotte, NC two weeks before my graduation. I've never been sick other than a common cold so I was unfamiliar with what was getting ready to change my life.
I had to be resuscitated twice in the parking lot before I could travel to the hospital less than two miles down the boulevard, the red cross had to notify my son recently back from Iraq training and preparing for deployment to Afghanistan, and my wife was preparing for a possible new chapter in her life.
Here again on January 23, 2020, during the pandemic, I suffered another attack that required CPR as I died in my living room holding on to my wife's thigh. Now I know and am convinced that I have been spared with a purpose in this life as a young lady EMT would not give up. She worked until I gained a pulse. I got my "do-over" and I am on track in life to serve and walk with a purpose.
As a former Marine and Army Officer, I'm determined to not let anything get in the way of my successes so if you don't know me you will know my niche is Leadership! My love for running and weightlifting are memories as I am getting back on track physically.
My life has changed tremendously and this mere setback means I need a new means to my end and greater successes. My goal is to be a Strategic Leadership Consultant developing and coaching individuals with low self-esteem and confidence issues, working with people trying to start new businesses, and building relationships while building a successful Online Internet Marketing business. This new journey is an exciting one that I look to achieve success and build many new relationships as I travel towards my success.
"Always Progress!"

Hello, Nice to meet you. Welcome to WA! This is a great place to learn and grow. If you need anything, do not hesitate to ask anyone here. I had a brand new person ask me a question and I decided to put my answer on a blog to help others begin at WA. It is a newbie perspective of starting here since I too am pretty new. You can read it on my profile under the blog title of: Thank You For Following Me. Where Do I Start? Hope you find it useful. Dave. Thank You For Following Me. Where Do I Start? Setting Goals, Training For Newbies, Reviewing The Basics For All
