When to Start Promoting Affiliate Products on Your Website
The main answer to this is when your site starts to get consistent traffic is when it's ok to start promoting affiliate products. This can take time, but once you hit that consistency mark, it's time to get going on the affiliate promotions.

The main one would be WA Michael. Seconary to that would be legit programs/offers related to your niche but the main one is def WA.

2. Whatever you mean by traffic, how many daily hits are you suggesting would be enough to get started with affiliate programmes?

Good question. I'll say that if you reach 50-100 visitors a day, it's a good indication it's time to start. Another important component is understanding quality visitors. You will want to try and target keywords that are specific to a certain problem/topic and/or review products to do that.

This is a good reminder that promoting affiliate links comes after your site is up and running and has consistent traffic.
I have found myself, more than once, being declined for joining an affiliate network, and more often than not, it is because of traffic.
As a newbie to building out your website and online business, it is very easy to get uneasy and defeated when the affiliate marketing part is not picking up.
