Weird Crap I've Been Able To Sell As An Affiliate!

In today's short vlog I want to show you some strange things I've been able to sell online as an affiliate. In this case it's foods and products I never really promoted and the key to making these things sell was that I was promoting Amazon products which were getting link clicks, but in the process people were buying other things (completely unrelated to my niche) alongside whatever I was promoting.

Amazon has a 24 hour cookie window which allows this and it's how I've been able to do it. In your case, what do you need to do to replicate this? Well if you're already an Amazon affiliate and promoting products that are getting clicks, really nothing. The sales will make themselves if people click on your link and you get enough of this happening.

Let me know if you've seen this happen to you too!

This is even weirder on Etsy, where you have a 30 days cookie instead of just 24 hours. Totally irrelevant stuff, like false teeth 😅

Hahaha ok you beat me there :)

Cool. I think a lot of times when I make an Amazon sale it is because someone clicked a link and then bought something else! Thanks for sharing, It also gave me some ideas...

My pleasure!

Hello Mr G, I like that video, I have a Shopify store, Not doing much but I am sure it will, I was wondering if I could but that link on WA

You can always link to WA but it's relevancy that determines if it works. If the site isn't getting relevant traffic that would be interested in WA, then it just wouldn't convert.

Thank you Vitaliy,

I didn't know that my link would enable buyers to give me commissions within a 24 hour period on other products. This is great to know.

My site is just about 3-4 months old and even though I am fairly high up on the search engines, I still do not have my first 3 sales from Amazon.

My site is similar to your hiking site so maybe I should think about putting more relevant items on my site along with what I already have.

Anyway, thank you for this information.
Mike

Hi Mike yes totally focus on putting up relevant product reviews and topics on the site. Focus on the incremental growth above all else and the rest falls into place along the way.

Yes, Sir! People click on a link for an RV-related product and add other silly little things. I'll take the 24-hour cookie!

Same here :)

That's a great feature of Amazon, as it also allows commission on other products within the 24-hour cookie window using their affiliate links.

Absolutely!
