Pinterest Affiliate Marketing Examples
Affiliate marketing can potentially work well on Pinterest but it involves having to find the right topic, then the right niche and then make the proper pins that have some commercial openings.
For example:
- Nature is popular on Pinterest (people like pretty nature pictures)
- You can make pins on Zion National Park (a popular search/park in Pinterest)
- You can make pins that have more affiliate intend such as pins on: Zion National Park hikes, packing list, outfits and lead that back to a page which talks/promotes these things
Some of the more popular niches/topics in affiliate marketing can be gardening, home decor, nails, hair, make up, skin beauty, animal care, travel (some stuff to consider).
I would consider putting more time/energy into affiliate marketing on pinterest AFTER you see which pins take off which have that potential. In the meantime, focus on making/refining your pin creation based on popular keywords and/or existing pins you see picking up, then add affiliate links to those that are consistently providing you with traffic to your site.
