Are you ready to start PPC? 2 important factors to consider beforehand.
I've been doing PPC for a very long time and consulting people on it as well and I have found that the following 2 qualifications are extremely important to consider before starting:
Do you have the budget? A budget could be a few $100 to get started, but you have to understand the risks meaning that if this is all you have left in your life and you are in a desperate financial situation, don't do PPC (yet). Wait until you have a steady budget to invest in this.
Do you have the experience? Do you know about SEO, blogging, traffic generation, have you made sales? If the answer is yes to one or more questions, then you may indeed be ready but if you're not (and you're tight on money) wait until you have both these things down.
If you have any questions or need help, let me know below and I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic!

My goal this year is to finally get properly into PPC. Will definitely be checking your videos about it. Thanks
I’ve tried the PPC route, and you are 100% correct it is a gamble.
Getting the click, is one thing, but a click only lasts a millisecond. It’s really important to retain the interest of the person that clicked.
I use a software that sends direct mail postcards to the United States, Postal Service, and I can send a postcard for $.53. That postcode, will last considerably longer than a click.
The key, as you mentioned, is optimization and getting that lead capture of the seriously interested prospect.
Thank you for your knowledge and insight.

My marketing career started backwards. I began with PPC marketing and can vouch for the difficulty and money need to begin. I began with trial and error until I learned how to build a successful funnel and finally make it work. I turned to blogging because I viewed it as less of a financial risk because you never know if your ads are going to convert so you can get your ROI. I still play with Ads occasionally, but I would much rather create content than to ever go feet first back into that world of marketing. :)
Thanks for sharing this info Michael! I'm glad you were able to find that content creation is better for you now, and maybe getting into PPC later!
You ignited my imagination with this post. So today I purchased 50 clicks direct to a blog post. Below are the results.
That's a good initial sign up rate but what eventually matters most is whether or not they upgrade. I've seen services like this before and in most cases what I noticed is also a high starter sign-up but no upgrades to premium. Hopefully this one you're using does better but if not, then traditional ppc would be the way to go moving forward .

Hi Vitaliy, as always, your straight-shooter approach is very good.
As for your two qualifications, I have a budget and I have experience BUT, my previous experience(s) have not been positive. All it got me was poor. The difference between then and now is, then I was not in a good financial position and went in like a blind, if not intoxicated gambler. I lost my arse.
So, here we are. I do understand SEO, traffic generation, and blogging BUT, I'm not generating any sales.
This time around, I want to move forward more carefully and hopefully with some guidance, from you if you're willing, and whomever else I can trust to give me sound feedback/advice. I've reached out to Kyle already.
I plan to watch as many of your videos as I can. I want to start with one foot in the water. Although I hope to make money right away, it's okay if I don't and I will stick to a budget and scale accordingly.
Thanks for all you do.

Hi Robert so with PPC, you should only invest whatever you are OK with potentially losing. If it's $5 a day, then you can start with that. If you can't do that, then I wouldn't do PPC. I'd instead grow a website on Google/Bing and socially share it to start (YouTube as well).
For sales, the funnel is important, starting from which keywords you are targeting which should ideally be product keywords or keywords on topics where people are ready to buy something (best fat loss programs for example). Then your goal is to create content and steer those types of people to a relevant page that talks about whatever topic and promotes a legitimate offer to help them. That puts you in a good position to increase your sales potentially. Start small with the keywords/products you target. Sometimes getting 10 clicks a day on an ad is a good start. It's the quality of the keyword/audience, not the quantity of clicks you get.
