My Google Adsense Account Fraud Testimonial

I remember back in the day.

Back before mobile connectivity was an important part of life.

Back before social media was the rage that it is today.

And yes, back before Wealthy Affiliate was even a thought on someone’s mind.

I remember, because I was there.

Way Back When

And so was Google Adsense. The clicks were starting to come in and the cash was starting to flow.

When I met him.

He had a plan. With his network Google, would never know about the Google Adsense account fraud and certainly not be able to find out.

I had made over $100 shortly before connecting but with our joining we would make so much more from people clicking on our banners.

I was excited.

Excited until the day I found out I had been banned from Google and would not receive my hard-earned money. It took about 2 weeks for my world to come crumbling down.

The End

It was over.

I learned my lesson the hard way.

Sometime later I tried to get a Google Adsense account again.

Fat chance of that happening.

Then I tried again a couple years later only to be still denied.

Several years later I thought for sure they would have lifted my ban, but such was not the case.

Thoughts Of Yesteryear

In fact, it was not the case until 11.17.2016. That would be yesterday as I write these words. And that is when I received notice that this time my application was approved.

Let’s see, I started somewhere around 2003 and it is swiftly moving to 2017 today. That’s is over 10 years by a long shot.and a long time to be banned from using my Google Adsense account.

To be honest, I don’t remember the date all this took place. It is safe to say that it was a long time of which I thought there would never be an end.

Lesson learned?

It’s not worth it to attempt to go against Google with crafty plans of not being caught for Google Adsense account fraud that clearly breaches their terms.

A New Beginning

So, what made the difference this time?

I’m not sure.

What I can say is that I submitted the site I have been building following Kyle’s Wealthy Affiliate plan and was immediately welcomed back into Google’s family.

What does that say about affiliate marketing?

What does that say about Wealthy Affiliate?

What does that say about Google Adsense?

Not sure, you decide. What I know is I’m back in and I put a lot of the credit for that squarely in Kyle’s hands.

Thanks, Kyle.

Thanks for sharing.

Glad it is resolved now. If you have a chance, Google is too profitable to mess with!

If at first you don't succeed try and try again!

The pattern of blocking across various programs is interesting. There are so many sites and services out there that will permanently block you for doing relatively little.

This is one reason I like affiliate marketing so much. I mean, some affiliate programs will block you fairly readily too if you do something wrong (Amazon Associates is an example). But, at least with affiliate marketing, you can be signed up for multiple programs at once. As a result, you don't lose your entire income if you get blocked.

In contrast, if you're relying on something like AdSense, you risk losing everything if you break a rule (or if the service thinks that you did). No thanks.

I very much get your point and even share it. My preference is a combination of the both rather than remaining in any one camp.

Wonderful, Guy!
You've taken the opportunity to become a much better person, such lessons are, in my opinion, once-in-a-lifetime situations ( although very long!), and I wouldn't be surprised if your character is stronger now, than that of someone without this experience.....

Thanks so much for sharing!

I am very touched by your kind words and insight. Thanks.

Funny...google addsense has been around since 2003...that make 20 years sound bit off?

Did you see this paragraph under the store front with owner graphic?

"To be honest, I don’t remember the date all this took place. It is safe to say that it was a long time of which I thought there would never be an end."

Saw it, but it would have been easy to find out, right? ;-)

How does it or does it not affect the overall point of the post? The facts remain the same no matter what the date be.

It does for me, I might be in minority of course, 2 decades versus 13 years make a big difference. If I would read it on the website, I would not give the article any credit.

Like if someone comes to me and applies for job and tells me he worked 20 years for YYZ and I call them and find out they only worked there for 13 years, I would not hire this person.

I keep to this rule when I write on my websites too.

Thank you for your insight. It is appreciated.

I have made the updates to reflect your concerns. Thanks again for being willing to speak up.

I really did not mean anything bad with it. Simply stated how I felt. I hope you didn't take it the wrong way. The text itself is great :-)

Nope - no harm no foul - just a difference of opinion with my willingness to agree with yours. We are here for one another and what you just did was bring tremendous value to my sphere of WA which is value in and of itself. That leaves me down to 2 final words and those being -- Thank You :)
