A to Z Analogy: Yacht

In my A to Z Analogy, I will take places, things and people and relate them to developing our online business. This is just for fun, but perhaps, you'll be able to see something from a different perspective.

Today's Analogy: Y for Yacht

I've been on a yacht twice; both times were masqueraded dinner parties, one of them I helped to plan with a friend.

One thing that really stands out about a yacht is the elegance... and the work! Aside from building this structure, it's just amazing to see all the people that are part of the yacht functioning properly. One missing "link" could cause major headaches, and in some cases, a catastrophe!

I see Wealthy Affiliate as this beautifully, intricate platform that sails through the sometimes calm and sometimes choppy "waters". When you're on deck, everything seems peaceful and serene. But once you go below deck, you get a glimpse of all the activity that's involved to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

With wanting to experience the enjoyment that comes from being on a Wealthy affiliate Yacht, we cannot forget all the work that's needed. But just like any physical yacht, we are not left alone to build this structure.

So, walk out on deck and feel the cool breeze from the ocean; drool over the delicacies of the buffet; enjoy another round of shuffleboard; don't forget to count your blessings, and always...

Strive to Thrive,

Veronica

Indeed...the analogy also reminded me of the duck....gliding along the water yet feet padding frantically beneath the surface.
Debbie

Oww... that would have been a good one for the letter "D"!

Oh, boy... I think I'm going crazy! I just thought of another analogy with animals! That would be very interesting, but I have neither the time nor the brain cells to even think about that. Perhaps another time... 5-years from now, lol.

Perfect Analogy, Veronica - you are for sure Captain of Words!

Great to sail through calm waters and storms on the WA-Yacht with a superb crew!
:-)

The crew here is top notch!

I'm always encouraged to see you spreading your sunshine, Pernilla!

I liked you analogy Veronica, very good indeed, all the best for you and keep sharing, cheers!

Thanks for reading, Pedro!

Veronica, You're going on with it.

Great and awesome job!

LouisaB~

Thank you, Louisa!

Welcome!

I personally like to stay below, but "peak"out on the deck 1-2x per day V, usually in the wee-morning hours!

You know... this makes me think of the cruise I went on so many years ago... tie for another one!

Hey Veronica,
We work really hard to make our websites run seemlessly on the surface but so many people don't know what goes on behind the scenes. Just like we think WA runs smoothly but behind the scenes Carson and crew are busy at work.

Tried and True

Elaine

I agree, Elaine. I think if we spent even a day with Kyle and Carson, seeing what they do behind the scenes, it would make us dizzy!

You might run aground occasionally but there's nothing like WA.

So true... so true.

It is your true experience and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for reading, Shamsun!

Great analogy Veronica. I'm forever grateful that the developers of this platform work so intensely to make it easy for us in the WA tribe to create their businesses. Here's to continued smooth sailing!

Well said, Lucille. Whenever we run into "choppy waters" we know that Kyle and Carson will lead us to shore safe and sound.

If you I am interpreting what you're saying correctly than I 100% agree. While WA is an absolutely amazing platform, one can spend a lot of time reading and commenting on articles (like I am right now lol) that could otherwise be spent building their business!

Ah... that wasn't quite what I meant, Mike. I think there's a time for reading posts, a time for training, a time for helping others... I could go on.

What I was referring to was how so many people want all the fine things that come with the "yacht" without taking the time to develop it.

But I appreciate the sacrifice you made to read my post, Mike, lol.
