Superfluous
It's a weekend post, but not quite an easy read.
If you want to decide what is superfluous for you (We all have come to this world for a purpose, but this purpose can be different with each individual), you can go through thepost .You may get some insights doing that.
Beautifully superfluous...
Ladies, do you get me? Men will never do.I once had a professional makeup done. I almost drove the lady crazy making her choose the exact shade of red I wanted for my lipstick, but she finally invited me to work with her. Unfortunately, I couldn't. I am all about languages, you remember? And I couldn't dedicate myself to a total new activity(interesting, though)...
I totally share this approach. No superfluous words in poems and posts even if we aim at reaching 1000+ words in a post.
Don't squander your creative potential away. Concentrate on your purpose.
And some practical implication of the principle. We should be aware of superfluous texts
written in small letters in documents we sign.
Break habits. Incorporate new ones which bring you closer to your purpose.
Observe the nature.
There is nothing superfluous here.
and here...
But it's a tricky thing, guys.
Sometimes we do need superfluous. Here everyone should decide to themselves.
Is watching the stars superfluous?Growing flowers and learning new languages?
Writing short stories and composing music? Painting? Travelling to distant countries?
Waking up at night because you need to write down the poetry lines which you heard in your sleep?
A kiss is never superfluous...
Have a great weekend!:)

Excellent post Vera,
That quote by Da vinci - "Human subtlety will never devise an invention more beautiful, more simple or more direct than does nature because in her inventions nothing is lacking, and nothing is superfluous" is quite profound because i'd submit that aligning with the laws of nature or "natural law"is the key to trimming down that "superfluous" waste.
Here is an excerpt from an article that i think dovetails quite well:
“The Law of God (Natural Law) and the law of the land are all one, and both favor and preserve the common good of the land.”
“If ever the Law of God (Natural Law) and man are at variance, the former are to be obeyed in derogation of the later.”

Beautifully written and filled with artistic flair as always Vera. Now to concentrate on the mundane superfluity (you know my verbiage) of keyword stuffing!
Oh yeah... It's an art in itself to combine the flow and the necessity to be tied up to certain words...Thank you, Mike.:)
And just when I'm about to start writing content for my site, I come across this! What a great timing; just what I needed :). Lovely post Vera!
Just the right amount of words Vera, lovely post it can be hard finding enough words at times. Thank you for the reminder.
