Life Takes Over
A couple of weeks ago I was really sad because of the beautiful hawthorn tree in front of my window having been crippled. You could have read about those events in this verse:

Now the situation changed.
LIFE TAKES OVER
Life takes over.
Always.
An amputee tree in front of my window,
Which I have been grieving over
For weeks,
Is giving new leaves-
It's going to live.
And then one day- you are right, my friends-
I saw some silhouettes
From the window that's in the kitchen.
I couldn't believe my eyes
I even checked online,
But those were they
who I have been missing.
In the tree next to the amputee
They are now living.
I again hear nightingales' singing.
Life takes over.
Always.

It is amazing that trees are so resilient we could all take so many lessons from nature it heals. So pleased that the tree is back.
Thanks so much, Alexander. This tree has surely life of its own and it's teaching me some things, too.:))
We have a similar tree in front of our window. In March he was cut. In April he started having leaves, when frost came and "burned" all new leaves. It took slightly over a month, but now it starts to get new leaves again. I almost gave up on it.
Yeah, about the same story, Eric. I almost gave up on it, and almost cried.Because of the nightingales, too...:)
Life is ongoing. Like the mythical bird, the Phoenix, life springs up from the ashes. Have a great weekend.
Yeah, thanks... And the best thing is nightingales are here. They sing at day time, too:))
Oh yeah... It's more typical of them to sing at nights, but as if compensating my missing them, they sing at day time, too...:))
Is that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or the tree of life? It looks the fruits are good to eat.
I believe, both. This tree has taught me a lot of things. Fruits are good to eat , sure, but unfortunately they are polluted- my windows face the road , just a couple of meters away.:)
In it's own time nature restores! It's amazing to watch, have a happy, positive weekend, Sue :)
Yes, true.I was really sorry when they cut off the limbs of the tree leaving almost a bare trunk. Now the leaves are showing, and there are nightingales in the tree next to it. A perfect spring combo. Have a great weekend, too:)
