Audrey Hepburn
Has ever been a more beloved actress , a more gorgeous woman, a more dignified person, a more ladiest lady than Audrey Hepburn? I know, I know , I created this term, but how else can I express my admiration and deep respect for her?
An embodiment of femininity, elegant and sophisticated Audrey Hepburn was the star both men and women admired. A wonderful actress, a great dancer, a person with an extraordinary flair for dressing well. Women would copy her style, famous designers would make clothes for her.
And remember, her contemporaries were Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor...
"It's a rare quality, but boy, do you know when you found it",- that's what Billy Wilder said about her.
She was aging beautifully, too.
After her artistic career had finished, she appealed to UNICEF with a request to appoint her a goodwill Ambassador. In this post Audrey Hepburn was tireless. Audrey wanted to draw attention of all mankind to the suffering of children. "Children should not have to pay with their lives for the mistakes of their parents", she was saying.
After learning about the disaster in any corner of the world, she hurried to help. "Life is empty if we live only for ourselves. Giving yourself to others you live," said this great woman.
January 20, 1993 Audrey Hepburn died from colon cancer.
In years to come, people will remember this great woman and enjoy films with her participation.
Watch a good movie today.:)

One of the most uniquely beautiful actresses Vera. She is an enhancement of your lightheartedness. That lively spirit of hers shows in the 1993 picture and is ready for the eternities!
Who didn't see "My Fair Lady" with Eliza Doolittle, alias Audrey Hepburn. Who doesn't "Breakfast at Tiffany's". The lead song of it "Moon River" is a must at every Karaoke.
Audrey Hepburn is and always will be one of my favorite actresses.
Thanks for sharing this post with us, Vera!
She really was one of the classiest ladies that ever walked this earth. Her pure heart made her even more lovely than some of the bombshells of her time.
Yes, she was wonderful.
You certainly created a lovely tribute to her and brought us down memory lane.
Thank you, for this classy post!
Susan
