Are You a Shopify Affiliate - And How Does It Work
Recently, I have read of members success with Shopify which has made me curious about what Shopify is.
So I have been online, asked the usual questions in Google about what Shopify is but I can't understand it. In all my years of researching affiliate programs, this one has left me puzzled.
I can clearly see that Shopify has an affiliate program. It appears that one can apply to be an affiliate without paying to join Shopify.
But, what is it that an affiliate of Shopify is promoting?
I understand that Shopify is an e-commerce program. My understanding stops there!
However, I am interested in whether the success affiliates are having is from being a paid member of Shopify and promoting their own products (if that's what Shopify is about)
or -
Are these affiliates having success by promoting the Shopify e-commerce program?

Yes they charge a monthly fee and I quit , not WA and some programs like amazon and awin affiliate networks I am so busy with them. You can join shopify as products , shopping carts as it works like a store. So many get drop shipping feeds listed there as if you know how drop shipping works then shopify is good. Diversion there again a time lost in WA blogs, amazon blogs etc anyway you can try it as fee is there monthly.

Hi, Valerie, It seems that they do have an affiliate program which revolves around getting folks to sign up for a Shopify merchant account ( open an online store)

I think that one can indeed promote without having to open a store having said that I know some folks who have and are doing quite well.
if you are looking at overseas just replace the .co.nz extension with the.com

I always promote overseas, mostly the USA, but with something as good as Shopify appears to be, maybe I need to be loyal to NZ.
However, I'll make that decision when I've studied all the information.

Shopify, by my understanding, is a site where you can learn to create a drop shipping business from scratch
Thank you very much Eithan. That is very helpful. I was once interested in doing drop shipping and although I don't want to do it now I think I would have sufficient knowledge, as an affiliate, to promote Shopify .

I was just contacted earlier today by a woman, who was reffered by a friend of mine, asking if i knew anything about Shopify sites. Sadly, I don't know much about Shopify, either. So, I messaged her back about WA. I thought she might want to learn on her own direct from the well of information here. Hopefully, she'll check it out.
