Online success is a step not a gamble.
A rant today so I will bring out my two step soapbox recently repaired by Jeannie.

How is it that some people think that to be successful they do a few things on the net and the money should be falling into their laps?
It's like running, you have to train yourself to be successful, it's a skill you develop over time.
I would love to be able to run a marathon today but I know that I have not run enough to be able to do this. I have been running since September last year and am only just getting to the stage of not completely hating it.
It's the same with online marketing, you keep training and growing until things start to make sense. No longer stabbing in the dark but actually understanding what works and what doesn't work.
There are no short cuts because every short cut you take will lead to short term results and then you are back at the start again.
Every new system that you try always leads to the fact that you have to work it.
You could spend thousands of dollars and get someone to do the work and maybe you might be successful. But if you have thousands of dollars then you probably don't need someone to help you out.
Usually you are trying to do this on a shoestring budget and that is why you have to work harder at this than someone who has the financial backing.
So take each step in online marketing deliberately, one step at a time and with purpose. No erratic thinking involved here. No jumping around, just one step and then another and before you know it you will have a very successful online business.

Thanks for sharing your experience and kind words. I've always wanted to be successful online. I think now at WA I have that opportunity just have to keep training and stay focused. Redo the lesson if I don't understand fully. How long before you became successful if you don't mind me asking?
My goal is to be successful within a 5 year period and then travel the world. I take things easy and learn a lot. I have my practice websites before I do my 'real' money earning website. I wish you all the best here. I have been in business most of my life so I am not worried how long it takes because it does take time. Read about other people's success here by clicking on success stories on your dashboard.

Awww....I didn't take that as a rant, more like a father (or big brother) scolding a very foolish child.
I have a friend that often talks about being deliberate in her actions. When I first heard it, I initially thought, "Of course I'm being deliberate!" But, not necessarily.....
