Oh ho ho, this is indeed a fine day. I think it is anyway! I hear other folks on the WA site cheering for their own little slice of victory pie, so I may as well put a smile on.

I hopped onto the laptop today and saw this pop-up notification and something about Google. I thought "blasted ads and popups" but quickly realized that I was on the Wealthy Affiliate website! So yes, one step closer to where I want to be.

It's not going to be a very long post today but I do just want to give a shout out to everyone that helped me along the way. And that goes well beyond just those I've interacted with up until now. There is wealth of great information on this site, from Kyle and the team yes, but also from the awesome community we have here. Blog posts and community lessons are available for each and every one of us to benefit from. Let's not forget how easy it is to ask questions around here, too!

To infinite, and beyond!

I'm starting to cut into my smoke break a little bit, but I wanted to leave off with a small piece of advice. It has been said before by the more veteran members and trainers here but it's always worth repeating:

Don't think you have to be a writer to write.

I sure as shoepolish am not a writer by the traditional standards. Most of us aren't, but don't let that stop you from poundin' away at those keys. I learned most of my English skills and general reading comprehension from a long history of playing video games in my youth. And the more you read, the better you'll be able to write. It's an easy way to boost your skills, 'cause you don't need School as bad as you think.
