One Year Ambassiversary.
That's right, it's my one year 'Ambassiversary'. Actually, today is my 366th day as Ambassador, I just didn't get chance to post yesterday and I'm up against it today but as long as I get his done in the next 45 minutes, we're 'golden' as they say.
When I first hit the top twenty-five I did so at number 25 and if I remember correctly, I'm not sure that I posted straightaway, I had a feeling that I would 'jinx' it and fall back the very next day, luckily I managed to hang on.
It's been an honour to have the title and I only hope that you think that I have been worthy of it. Sometimes I feel as though I haven't done enough, when I look at other Ambassador's and see how much they are able to help others.
It was Douglas Adam who said:
"To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity."
There will always be arguments about the position and there will continue to be so over the next umpteen years. The grinding of axes and spitting out of sour grapes will always happen and I can do nothing about that.
I have to be happy with my own lot, as that is all I have control over. Though, for those that witter on about where you should spend your time, I'll say this, it's your time and you should spend it where and as you see fit.
For me, I am forever grateful to WA and everyone within it, as without it, and you, I would not have found my new direction. You have helped and guided me and for that I will be eternally thankful.
Looks like my time is up, it's major service day for the good lady, laser eye surgery this morning and now we're off to the chiropractors to get a pelvis re-alignment, ouch.

Posts such as these can have a way of lifting the stones and allowing those that need 'to say their piece' to crawl out and try to taint something that is meant to be a celebration of a 'good' thing.
Well, I thought I would circumvent those 'agent provocateurs' by putting it out there first and in short form, thus rendering them impotent and none the wiser, which was most befitting.
You know, I am just beginning to put together my main site, 'Under Construction' you might say and it will take a while but do you know what excites me the most ? The 'Freebies' category.
Too many miss the most important part and skip ahead to the 'make money' section. I have never been a good salesman, so I never try to be one. I'd much rather be an assistant, it's good to be of service.
You have this gift of saying everything - good and bad - so invitingly.
I am excited about your website.
The Affiliate Marketing side of my online business is in my medium to long-term plans, building out slowly and on a strong foundation.

I sometimes stop and think 'Whoa, what are you doing, this is a huge undertaking' and then I think, so what, do it right or don't do it at all.

When you say 1 year, that is something. But when you say 365 days, it sounds way longer even though it is the same. You continue with what you do so well, writing.

I know what you mean, though the reality is that it doesn't feel that long unless I try to picture what I was doing a year ago and then it does feel like an age.
Yes, you are right, neither of us could do what we do without the full support of the other. Pelvis is now back where it should be (a throwback to a 'split pelvis' offloading child number four, some seventeen years ago.)
Between now and the next eye appointment (sometime in January) she will be giving herself the best possible chance by pursuing the natural route as much as possible, initially with Butterfly Pea tea and Bilberries, I shall also be looking further into the herbal medicines that came up on the search you kindly did. Being proactive.😁
I plan to have my second eye done soon, hopefully still this year. Like that I will be set till the end of my life.
It is always good to add herbal medicine whenever one can. In general minor side effects. A split pelvis? I had no idea you could have something like that. I find it sounds rather scary. Good to hear it is back in place, just imagine.

Having had the one done at least you know the drill, which helps.
Yes. it's a thing and not completely uncommon, though the degrees of severity vary, I believe.
It's to do with the area at the front of the pelvic girdle that's held together with ligaments and some cartilage. I think it's a difficult area to strengthen.
