Milestone: Level One Completed & My Reflection & Thoughts
I've completed my first milestone Level 1 Online Entrepreneur Certification, I feel so good and great about it.
Previously when I joined other internet marketing courses, I've never even reached this stage. Whenever, I reach WP setting, get stuck and couldn't get the support so I gave up, it was a big mental block and I had this bad experience coming back when I tried to understand the WP settings at WA. Fortunately, with proper mindset and that fighting spirit, I was able to overcome it. I love the Keyword Tool at WA which gives unlimited searches, it's so useful and the column analyses it provides are so relevant.
Going forward, I am committed to complete up to level 5. I know it's not going to be easy as I progress, but today I'm totally confident with WA learning program. It's my first time reaching this far and especially have overcome the fear of WP backroom setups.
I'm now back on track within my timeline as initially I thought I had to spend a week to complete Lesson 10. Now that I'm in Lesson 10, I realize it's an overview summary and a time of reflection of what I've done in the last 9 lessons and going forward what should I be doing. The answer is obvious since I'm already a premium member and I will keep pushing forward until an excellent site is produced, which I can attribute is primarily through the superb online learning that WA has produced.
If anyone is still undecided whether to go premium, I highly recommend you to do so without delay, it's well worth your investment especially if think in the long term that you going to receive all the benefits once your website is up and stabilized. By then your monetary benefits will far surpasses your yearly investments.

Hey Terry! I remember when I started on my lessons, it was my day off and I spend 11 hrs on it and finished it. I'm sure no one want to do 11 hrs but I just loved it and found it interesting and then I started to become premium after that. I never ran into a site like this that helps you build your own business and hard work will pay off!

Terry, I'm glad you've been able to overcome the old fears and hang-ups. I can understand them very well. I tried other systems too, that said they would teach me and left me hanging. Just as you said. I had to hire people to do the work for me and I still didn't get the outcome I wanted. My finances got worse, to the point that my son moved in with me to try and help me out. I have to make this work. No other option. So we stick to it and make it work. I wish you all the best!

Great article and congrats on finishing the first course! WA makes it so easy to learn how to do this and it is WELL worth the money. I am so glad I joined; my site looks AWESOME because of WA. I never knew that I could have such a professional looking blog. I am glad you didn't let your past experience with similar companies deter you from giving WA a try; to me there is NO COMPETITION. Keep up the good work and keep following the program just as you have been and I promise you will have an AMAZING site by the end of this. :-)
Absolutely well worth every single cent invested at WA, they could have made it more expensive, but the founder (Kyle) and co-founder (Carson) are very generous and they know out here's there so many of us hunger to learn n how to succeed at Internet Marketing. So, I believe it was set at a budget that is reasonable within our reach too. Yes, I'm learning every single bit at WA and there is not a single moment of dullness or frustration. Yes, once I finish Level 2 , I'll come back to you and also seek feedback from you on my site too. I love you mentoring me ;)
Really good blog post, you are right, sticking with the training is important and if you have any problems, stick your question up in the white bar at the top, press return and away you go again. You are also very right about going Premium if people can afford it, it is certainly the best way to go.:-)) Steph

I very much enjoyed your blog! I have not gotten past lesson 4! I think it is safe to say I am stuck. I was at the point of just giving up tonight until I read your blog! While I very much enjoy WA, I am at my frustrated point. I think it is just because I am mentally exhausted and really frustrated that I'm not understanding some things! I am going to turn in for the night ad start over tomorrow! Thank you very much for the inspiration!
No problems, I'm glad you have been inspired by the blog. One encouragement, if you are unsure of anything, just put up the question and there will be WA members helping you out very fast with responses. It does not matter how simple or stupid the question is, even I ask many stupid question and I don't feel embarrassed. In my younger days, my professor used to tell me even if I have the world's most simple and stupid question, never mind shoot it out and ask (does not matter if others laugh at you), because I can only be stupid for 5 seconds and after that I'm intelligent for that issue already. if I don't ask, then I will never know the answer and will remain silently stupid for ever, which do you want to choose that was what my professor told me. From there, I learn how to ask and got many doubts cleared because it does not other me if the question is extremely stupid. Because of that learning, I was able to climb the corporate ladder up very fast and reach the board level. Now, as I'm half retired, my next challenge is to climb up and be one of the many top internet entrepreneurs. Look at Alibaba boss, he made it as a top internet entrepreneur. I need lots of support because I get lost easily. Right now, I am stuck trying to figure out everything I have learned. And not knowing how to do it!...Can you give some of your ideas?
I was like that too. What I found really really helped me was listening to the whole thing first without doing anything but watching and paying attention. Then I would repeat the lesson and everything goes like clockwork.
WA training as you know gives you checklists to mark your progress. I would create a chart to keep track of accomplishments. You can then go back and retake any identified weak points until you get it right.

Just as starter, I encourage you go through Certification Level 1 Course Lesson 1, read through, listen to the video, do the task activity before moving to next lesson. Don't feel funny about going back and reviewing steps over and over,,,,I do. It really works well for me if I can you two screens, one where I am watching a lesson and one to implement what I am seeing in real time, maybe you can try that.
Holla if you need help, but move at your own pace. Don't rush through cause there is so much to learn.

Yeah, I speak several languages and it sometimes causes me problems due to the different way that different languages express themselves.
This can cause technical instructions hard to follow. lol My wife tells me not to let my mind wander because it is too small to be out by itself.

Yes, you're absolutely right, never let that inner voice or pessimism distract you from going back to review previous lessons. This is my experience that sometimes, my mind could tell me "hey what's going on, I thought you have progress ahead already, why you're going back to review lessons, is that because you're not good enough or have not learnt well before!" I never let such remarks or inner voice distract me as it could be disastrous to my site building progress.
In order to be optimistic, I tell myself that I've only absorbed 90% of the text previously, now I'm going back to ensure I will absorb at least 98% of the text and be absolutely sure of what I'm doing before. It's a reinforcement of the facts I've gone through. In that way, I'm psychologically and positively tuned to a very sure site building success and confidence to the extent that I can tell others how to do it without referring to my tutorial lessons; it's already memorized in my mind.
I did a similar way like Gmyogi though I don't have 2 screens yet, maybe I'll get one later). I'll listen to the video and see what task activity to do for the first round. Once I've completed and understand the first round, I'll replay video and read the tutorials again. When I finish the second round, that's when I will put the application what I've learnt into my site building immediately. In that way, my mind is still very fresh on what I've registered from tutorial lessons, task activities and video clips.
Yes, the key golden rule is NEVER rush through tutorial otherwise you will miss many important or even finer points. Just as an example, in Level 2 Lesson 3 I spent at least a month and a half on that particular lesson researching for good quality content before I progress on to next lesson. You may ask why? That's because I want to do it right the first time and in subsequent lesson can put up the content and link to the affiliate program. I don't want to do content just for the sake of doing it and move quickly to next lessons, but subsequently finding my content is not good and I've to redo it. This is not good practice for me as far as I'm concern. Even If I did good quality content now, perhaps my subsequent amendments will be very minor just tweaking and fine tuning for SEO ranking only and no major amendments required. If I want to be quick I could have finish all course levels by now, but the question is what do I learn at the nd of all these courses, very little right and also forgetting many points here and there. It defeats my purpose of learning at WA.
Gmyogi, thanks for bringing up all those good excellent points. I'm just using your key points which I've similarly experienced to put into my experience journey and encourage WA newbies too.

Proud of you and your accomplishments Terry! I can relate to you! When I found WA and completed Course 1, going premium made sense and since I made it that far, I figured why not right?!
