Earning six figure Retirement!
Retirement has come.
Five years ago, I transferred my business website over to Wealthy Affiliate. The plan was to learn how to create an online presence that would give me a retirement income from my present construction job. As I learned the many different aspects of web design and all that it entails receiving traffic to earn an income, two years into my plan, a decision was required. Do I continue putting in all the hours for my online presence or spend extra time working my business doing renovations.
Anybody choosing to retire needs to know what they want and the amount of money to achieve it. I knew like most wanting a house, vehicles, and a steady stream of income takes planning. Like most of you here with Wealthy Affiliate, having an online business would provide earnings giving us the money we needed. For me, this amount would be a low six-figure region. Many others believe they need more. What I found in my case was my present job created more income than anything I was trying to earn online.
For many of you, Wealthy Affiliate may be the way for you to achieve your goals. For myself, I now have the income I need to retire and pursue my hobbies. Now that I have reached this point without an online presence, taking the time to update websites and dealing with all the other requirements, I've decided to delete everything to focus all my time on my hobbies and family.
To all of you here in the community, good luck with your endeavors and have a happy new year.

Best success to you, Travis! Whatever floats your boat (in reference to your yacht pic)!
Thanks and boating is one of the things we enjoy each summer. You have yourself a successful year and life!
Its great to see someone able to intentionally direct their life because of all heir hard work. Congratulations! I hope you enjoy everything you do. What a wonderful way to start the new year
Thanks! My wife retired at sixty so I decided to do the same. This will give us a lot more time with our kids and grandchildren.
You are wise to do that. I retired a few years ago but went back to work 1/2. Hopefully, my wife will retire in March and we will be time for ourselves and the grandkids.
Hey Travis, Best of luck with your new projects.
Everyone has his own path, that's cool.
The first goal must be happiness.
Happy retirement time.
Marc
Thanks, after spending so many years working now I can have extra time for the important things in life.
I'm newly retired too, now doing things that I love.
PS: I had a great full-time job before :-)
