Very Greatful!
Glad I'm Here!
I wanted to take a minute to thank this great community for all of the support they offer, including the classes! I just received a badge for 6 months (where has the time gone) here on the platform and quite frankly, the time has flown by. I guess they're right when they (who are "they"?) say "Time flies when you're having fun!". Much like many of the members here, I really look forward to jumping on the platform each morning and seeing what everyone is up to. And circling back to the classes, they are worth their weight in gold! Thank you all!
AccomplishmentsI've really only had actual content on my site since December, but I am now up to 45 posts and although that isn't a lot, I do work a full time job, have an 85 year old mother and a house that I keep making "improvements" on. Haha. I've reached over 4100 impressions and 77 visitors in the last 28 days, which may not be much to a lot of members here, but I am happy with the progress thus far.
GratitudeAgain, THANK YOU to everyone here for this fantastic place, especially Kyle, Carson, Eric, Jay and the rest of the people who have made this the platform what it is! I've even made several great friends here in a short amount of time (you know who you are)! Thanks to all of you as well!
Keep on Rockin everyone and always be thankful for what you have!! πΈπ€πΈ

This is definitely an awesome place!
I plan to keep on Rockin!
Although, I'm listening to some Eagles currently (not full fledged Rockin). I have several bass lines to learn. Apparently I'm in another band....not sure exactly how that happened. Haha
Thanks for everything, Frank!! πΈπΈ

Hi Tim
The Eagles are an awesome band!ππ
I love all the guitar players, especially Joe Walsh! I met him backstage, and he's a really nice guy.
I have a vintage late '60s Fender Dakota Red Musicmaster bass guitar that I use to put tracks on recordings, but I haven't picked it up in a while. It's worth about $2,000 to $2,500 in the shape that it's in. I probably paid less than $300 for it new. Lol
It's always great to play music with others. So much to learn, right? π

Hey Frank!
So true. This group is my brother and another buddy from high school. The buddy is a great song writer, plays a ton of instruments and sings well. My brother and I grew up singing barbershop, basically since birth, due to our father who sang it for over 25 years. We often joke about our dad trading us in if we weren't able to sing harmonies! Because of that, this group will focus on Eagles tunes, CS&N tunes, some Queen and Styx as well. Who knows what else.
Your bass sounds awesome. I still play a Fender P-bass, had it for years. It's like an old friend. Haha.
This endeavor should be interesting for sure. Maybe I'll toss a few tunes your way to check out, when we get something down.

Haha, that all sounds great, Tim!π
For me, music is all about having fun. Not easy to do barbershop, so you're very well trained in harmonizing vocal parts, which also gives you quite an edge with harmonizing instrumental sections!
Queen is one of my absolute favorite bands!
Definitely send me MP3s when you get things rolling. π

Good morning
I love reading inspiring post just like yours. Thank you.
Thus far I have been at this less than 30 days. My mind flip back and forth with positive and negative thoughts about what I am attempting to do. However, I have made the commitment to just do it and not worry about the money aspect of this game... yet. For today and the next six months I want to just write, post, and mold my new blog into a real purpose driven thing. I think I just kind of shot it out of a canon and let it ride. Now it is telling me it needs a more focused directions.
Happy a great day and looking forward to reading more of your posts.
Thanks for reading my post, Spencer!
Hang in there, stay consistent with the training and by all means, when you are having doubts or concerns, lean on all of us in this fantastic community! I haven't found one person here that isn't willing to help out!
Stay the course....you got this!!
