A Plug for a Friend of Mine from WAAAAY Back
http://www.omnimysterynews.com
i was doing the social media browsing thing (called Facebook), which i do from time to time, and I was very interested to see a post about an old co-worker of mine. We both worked at Arthur Andersen & Co in Houston during the early 1980's and we both attended William & Mary. In turns out that our Dad's were in the same Air Force Fighter Squadron and flew the same jet, albeit at slightly different times. We were both born on the same military base in update NY. I guess I stopped following Dave around when he went to law school after doing a few years of public accounting, He graduated at the top of his class, and then opted to serve his country in the US Navy. Great guy. I know his wife from college days as well. In any event, he just published his first mystery novel; sounds like an interesting plot. If you like this sort of read, you might want to check it out. His name is Dave Grogan and the book is titled the Siegel Dispositions. Knowing Dave like I do, I am guessing that it will be excellent.

Bob, normally I'm always looking for a good book. But, when you spend every awake moment, reading lessons, doing keyword searches and writing content, blogs, posts... etc. Reading a novel is not on the schedule.
You're a good friend.
Do a Google search ... Siegel Dispositions ... amazing! Look at those entries! Amazon, etc..... impressive!
You are a true friend! I have already passed this tidbit along to a few people I know love this type of novel....hope it helps....
Thanks. If you know of other forums let me know and I'll spread the word there! Viral marketing....
That is awesome! It is truly special when you share such a history! I have been trying to track down a couple of dear friends from the past, we lost contact when their addresses were lost in moving. Unfortunately there names are not that unusual and I have not found them yet. I do not generally read novels but I enjoy them and will put his book on my list of books to read. Christa :)
That's really great, Bob, that you connected again after all these years. That's what Facebook excels at, keeping people in touch, as well as reconnecting them after many years. I found a friend from 40 years ago which was wonderful. I'll have to check out the book!

I think it's pretty cool that your Dad flew for the Air Force in a Fighter Squadron. Way back I got the "I want to be a pilot" bug, and went to Pensacola as a Marine Flight Cadet. Would have been right in the middle of the Vietnam War if an old football knee injury hadn't given me so much problem that I got a Medical Discharge.
This foiled my plan to go on into commercial aviation, but I guess things happen for a reason.
