Now that we know the writing style, it is time to put the words on paper.
Writing Templates
I use SiteContent to write all my content. I have a template for reviews and a template for normal articles. Normal articles have a minimal word count of 500, 10 paragraphs and 5 headers. Reviews have 1500 words and a lot more headers and paragraphs.
This isn't the most important part though, because it is the applied writing style that will make or break your article.
Structure
It is a good idea to use a certain structure in your articles. It doesn't mean that you have to follow them strictly all the time, but it can certainly help structure your article, when you went free and wild and don't see the structure anymore afterwards.
Normal Article Templates
Put at least an introduction section in, a body and a conclusion. Close of with a "call to action". Call to action in the case of reviews will be of course to buy the product. In other articles it could be reading a review/ other article or asking for a comment.
Example Normal Article
- Introduction
- Body
- Conclusion
Depending on what I am trying to teach the audience about the subject, I might further categorize or buildup the body of the article.
To prove a point or to explain a certain thing, I could further slice up the problem in several sections. Sections could be defending points or explanatory parts of the subject.
Example Proving A Point
- Introduction
- Body
- Support 1
- Support 2
- Support 3
- Conclusion
Example Explaining Things
- Introduction
- Body
- several different sides of the thing I am explaining
- Conclusion
Reviews
In reviews I usually clearly slice it up between a section about the product description, who it is meant for and how to use the product. I always add a list of pros and cons and try to have a little section for Questions and Answers.
Example Reviews
- Introduction & problem description
- Product Name & Presentation
- Whom is it For
- Second introduction to why this product is great
- Complete product review
- usually with added sections such as cleaning & maintenance (not applicable to all products of course)
- Pros & Cons
- Questions & Answers
- Conclusion
- Call-To-Action
Final Tips
- Try to write natural.
- Write for your audience, not for the search engine
- If you cannot figure it out with the template when you start writing, write out your content first and then try to move the parts around into the right structure.
- Imagine what you would want to hear or read about when you would be the visitor here.
- Are you proving something? Are you defending an opinion? Are you reviewing a product? What need are you answering?
- Have fun!

Good job!
We sometimes wonder why we get traffic but no conversions. Your tutorial is a good reminder that it is important to connect with your audience. So, thank you.
