Why is Conversion Rate Important?

If you are able to determine what a conversion is worth to you, then you can more accurately set your daily, weekly or monthly advertising budget. This quickly will allow you to know your expenses ahead of time (within certain limits of course) and it's much better than throwing mud on the wall and seeing what sticks and what doesn't.

Optimizing your home page (or other landing pages) for high conversions can means better use of your hard-earned traffic. There are several keys to good, solid and reliable conversions.

So, I thought I would mention just a few tips on how to increase conversion rates and maximize your bang for each advertising buck (not to exclude the many free methods of traffic that I still employ daily.)

1. Optimize your Traffic

High quality traffic as I mentioned above is a huge key to conversions. As opposed to just throwing irrelevant stuff on social media and other websites, be descriptive and inform folks of what your website is about so when they click on links that leading to your home page or your landing pages, they are somewhat "pre-qualified" to a degree and much more ready to buy or perform the desired action.

Great training PJ. What a way to start the week!

Like you said psychology, visuals, catchy marketing, continuous monitoring and improvements to your CTAs , your keyword approach related to relevancy , ( does the way the person arrives to your site make sense based on what you are actually selling or promoting) are all very important parts of the CTA puzzle.

You only have so much time for your reader to make that decision.

So many folks out there do not even have well defined, and easily seen CTA icons.

The easier the process is to your visitor, and the more clear cut it is, the more likely he or she will move forward and make a purchase.

Thanks again for the training PJ.
