Certification Courses These are referred to the Online Entrepreneur Certification courses.

Clicks The verb form refers to when you or one of your users mouses over a link or a hyperlinked image and pushes the button on their computer mouse. Used as a noun, it refers to how many times someone pushed their mouse on your link. You will hear words like raw clicks and unique clicks.

Comment This what you enter into the text box in response to what somebody said in a discussion or it can refer to an appropriate remark left in the text area of someone's website. For example, these are comments left below regarding this particular training on terminology:

Commissions Money you earn when you receive new referrals through your affiliate link.

Community A group of like-minded individuals helping each other to reach certain goals. You will often here people speak of the WA community and how we pay it forward.

Conversions Within WA, these are referred to people who visited your site and clicked on the link to join and signed up as a result of your successful promotion of WA.

Cross-linking: When you link a group of one or more websites together, usually ones that you own, so to get better exposure to include linking your WA site to your niche site. The problem is if there is excessive cross-linking you might be penalized by Google or Google slapped.

CSS Cascading Style Sheets is code within your website that dictates your consistent format, font, image size, color and the overall look and feel throughout your website. It is embedded within the HTML.

Hi Steph, thanks so much for this the information is invaluable. There are a couple of other terms I see being mentioned but am unsure what they are - backlinks and meta bar. Would you be able to explain these for me please?

I noticed that too and when I first published this resource there was much more of those special characters. It is not HTML. HTML looks like <html> ....<head>...</head>....<body>...</body>...</html>

These are some special characterization and I do not know what is causing them. I have to go and edit them individually.
