The first task that I do every day is to add all of the new members that joined Wealthy Affiliate the day before. To perform this task, go to your Profile page and right under your Profile narrative is a section titled "New Members".

The New Member section will show ten new members at a time. Click on each of their green Follow buttons and then click the "Refresh" hyperlink after the bolded "New Members (build your personal network)", this will refresh the list. Continue this until the New Member's section is empty. There's typically between 50 to 100 new members each day.

1. It shows a warm welcome to new members.
2. It builds your network, so when you write blog posts or questions you'll get more comments and likes, which will help you rank quicker.
3. It shows me how many people are signing up for a free membership each day.

If you try to follow more than 200 people in a short time span you'll get a message that says you've hit the limit. If this happens, just wait a few minutes and you can start again.

*Tips for Newcomers*
Click on the blue "Rank" button at the top right of the page to not only see your rank, but it has the top 200 people in Wealthy Affiliate. These are some of the most active people on the platform, so to get a jump start, follow all of them.

Periodically click on the light blue "Network" button at the top right of your page to Follow back members that find and Follow you.
