Entertainment Does Provide Balance In Our Lives

In my own life, I'm not a television watcher, though I do occasionally watch it with a friend. I generally watch about three or four hours of television per week. It's my time to be with my friend...
We silence the commercials and talk about life...a great way to not give commercial advertising the time of day!
Music
I often play music...the right kind of music that does not distract from what I'm doing when I'm writing or learning new concepts here at Wealthy Affiliate. I tend to listen to instrumental music, something ambient or classical. I realize this is not for everyone, but it works for me. There are times however, when I need absolute quiet time to do my writing. Music is therapeutic and is also a mood-enhancer.
The idea here is to balance out your time, some for entertainment, and some for education. At times both can be done simultaneously depending on you and what works for you. Ideally though, all of your focus should be on your work and your education at least some of the time. Music is a wonderful medium that works well with work, if it is the right kind and does not distract.
We've talked a bit about gleaning time during our waking hours when not on the clock at our day jobs. What about day jobs and can we extract time that belongs to our employer to aid in our off-time passions? Let's see...

Very useful training Daniel. Time management and perseverence are essential to success. I think a lot of people are having to balance a job and Wealthy Affiliate training so will find this useful.
