Accessing the File Manager

You will probably be at the My Desktop screen. It is too big to post here so we will just look at the one part we are interested in. On the bottom right hand side of the screen is the Tools section. Click on the Manage Files on Domain as shown in Figure 3 below.

Figure 4 shows you all of the domains you have set up already and also allows you to Add a New Domain. For this example, I have set up two test domains to use for this tutorial. We will use the mywebsite.com domain. Just click on the Domain name that you want to work on.

Tremblant -- Yeah, it really comes in handy. Be sure to back it up after all of your changes are made and download it to your pc so you have an up to date copy. Check out my SIG for my webhost. Been using them for about 8 years now. All individual IP addresses at no extra charge.

Maz - You are welcome. You can do a heck of a lot with the file manager. If you are not hosting at WA, most hosting companies allow you to zip/unzip files. This is a real quick way to upload/download your entire site.

Thanks, it answered some of my questions and challenges, especially I was finally able to change the title "home" of my web page to something else easily; what web hosting co. do you suggest?

Thanks for a great tutorial. I didn't realise that you could edit the html code in File Manager.
