Inside Your Root Directory
We have finally arrived at the root directory of our domain. In this case, mywebsite.com/httpdocs. This is where you ftp your site to. This is really where your site lives. If you are using a WA template or one of the feeder sites, or any template in general, your root directory will look similar to Figure 6. Notice the first 2 folders, the css and img folders. The css folder will contain your css files. The img folder will contain all of your images. Some templates use the img folder and some will use an images folder. It really doesn't matter what you call it as long as you refer to it by the proper name on your web pages. I created the test folder and uploaded the skin.zip folder for the sake of this tutorial.

WA free hosting does not provide zip/unzip features. The hosting company I use does and it comes in real handy. I can zip up a 100 page site, ftp that one file to my webhost, unzip it and my site is up and running in seconds.
Anyway, lets delete that unwanted file. Simply click on the box to the left of the file(s) you want to delete and click on Remove Selected at the top of the screen. See Figure 7 below.

You will be asked to confirm the removal. Once a file or directory is removed, there is no getting it back unless you have been performing backups. So if you are sure, click Finish.
Maz - You are welcome. You can do a heck of a lot with the file manager. If you are not hosting at WA, most hosting companies allow you to zip/unzip files. This is a real quick way to upload/download your entire site.
