Street Articles allows you to put an image into your articles. Take advantage of this option, find some images with good impact to add to your article. Once the article gets published, Pin the image to your site. While you are at it, ping your article, digg it and reddit it. Those 4 things will make a huge difference with your article ranking.
If you have been listening to Jay's lectures and reading Kyle and Carson's tutorials you will have images on each page or post of your website. Add these images to your pin boards. The URL to your site will be preserved in the embed code of the Pin and provide a backlink to your site. Add a clever or exciting title to your Pin to get people to click on the image. A recent article that I pinned was an image of 5 puppies sucking on the fingers of a hand. The caption, Eaten by Puppies. This has been rePinned almost 50 times in one week. So be clever and choose an image that people will share readily. Every Repin carries your URL with it.
The key is to host images and to pin images (on your site) that people want to share. The more shares you get, the more followers you have, and ultimately the more reach and traffic you will get from your Pinterest account.
Don't forget to add your affiliate links within your Pins (where necessary)!
