Ok, we've got our image in place. But it is the wrong size. Most often I want a bigger image than is available in the defaults from SiteStripe.

Resizing is easy, just move your editor back over into text mode. The first thing you want to do is look for a bit in the code with an SL in front of it. The 3 different sizes you can copy from Amazon are:

  • SL110
  • SL160
  • SL250

Depending on the size you pulled originally you'll want to look for the respective bit in the code. You can use CTRL-F in your browser to look for "SLXXX" and replace the XXX with the relevant number.

Once you find this piece in the code simply update the existing number to your desired image size. For example SL400:

Then flip back over to viewing mode and voila! You've got a nice large sized image!

Note you can do this with any image on Amazon. The larger you make it the more likely the quality is to degrade when it loads though. So do be careful with making images way too large.
