Tip #1:

There is research out there that points to having too many affiliate links leading to lower rankings on your site. Keep in mind that every image you copy from SiteStripe is considered an affiliate link.

Given this you may want to consider removing the actual link from the image and just having the image there instead. This means you'll need to get people to click another link. But if you're building a page with numerous products and there are text links anyway then you may want to remove the image links to shrink the number of Amazon Affiliate Links on your page.

Just to be clear, you CAN remove the link and still maintain the image itself.

To do so simply go back into text mode and delete the <a href=""> portion of the html code for the image. See below for the exact portion to delete. Once you delete this and switch back to viewing mode your image will look identical but it will no longer link to Amazon.


Tip #2:

At the moment I've not found any way to use Amazon SiteStripe images in my Feature Image for anything on WordPress. Research on my side indicates this is not possible.

You'll need to find images from Pexels or Pixabay or another free site if you want to have featured images.
