However you don't have to just hit that one keyword. You can actually write on all these keywords and get all the traffic potentially to your site. (I will be honest I would have liked to have seen bigger number, but the principle is still the same)

So lets say you write an article about the Samsung 32 1080p hdtv, that is potential of 11 traffic to your site. Because as we went over at the beginning of this tutorial, someone is searching for that term as a customer.

Then you write an article for the next one 42 vizio xvt lcd... and can get 28 traffic.

Lets drop down to the 28 and 30 traffic, yes, again, you write articles about that for those keywords. So with the little numbers lets add those up. You have 11+28+28+30 = 97. So you have the potential of nearly 100 people visiting your site every month.

Now yes, you do want to have keywords that have a traffic greater then 50, but traffic is traffic. If it get a customer on your site that is a potential sale for you. So don't be to quick to dismiss those low keywords, or if you are having trouble maybe finding keywords over 50 don't feel discouraged. If you write 10 articles with a traffic of 30, that is 300 traffic you could be getting to your site. It really does add up.

What do you mean exactly by the ""s? No spaces?
Something simple but I am missing it :P
Thanks a lot for the help.

""s means that you put quotes at the beginning and end of the words you want to search for. Example: "search for this" will bring back only results with the exact same wording. If you do not use the quotes you will get a variety of different results that may not be pertinent to your search.

It means enclosing the search term in inverted commas.

AdamsOnLine, but I already do that all the time! I use this a lot. Lol. I thought ""s meant like something else-something I did not know. This is one of the most embarrassing moments ever, in a professional place. But oh well, it is not like I have not done that here already.
Thank you for your reply and in being kind about it.
It also means that I am the definition of a dork.

We all have intellectual interludes. It is a normal human trait. So you are normal.

Ok Jenna, I'll share one of my moments then with you as well. You know the word façade. Means persona or mask. Well as you might know it is pronounced (fa- sod) well I pronounced it like it is spelled. (Fa-cade) good thing it was only in front of my mom. But like Adam said we all have those moments, lol.

This is very good and informative. Nothing like acknowledging the small stuff to build to the large stuff. Thank you.

Thank you. I mean if you find a gold mind with lots of traffic and little competition then go for it. But I wouldn't discount the one with little traffic, because again, traffic is traffic and you never know where you might get someone to come to your website or what they will buy when they are on it.
